| 1 | I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of Yahweh!" | In Praise of Jerusalem. Psalm 122(v121) | שָׂמַחְתִּי בְּאֹמְרִים לִי בֵּית יְהוָה נֵלֵךְ׃ | |
| 2 | Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! | עֹמְדֹות הָיוּ רַגְלֵינוּ בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ | ||
| 3 | Jerusalem, built as a city which is bound firmly together, | יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַבְּנוּיָה כְּעִיר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה־לָּהּ יַחְדָּו׃ | ||
| 4 | to which the tribes go up, the tribes of Yahweh, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh. | שֶׁשָּׁם עָלוּ שְׁבָטִים שִׁבְטֵי־יָהּ עֵדוּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְהֹדֹות לְשֵׁם יְהוָה׃ | ||

| 7 | Peace be within your walls, and security within your towers!" | יְהִי־שָׁלֹום בְּחֵילֵךְ שַׁלְוָה בְּאַרְמְנֹותָיִךְ׃ | ||
| 8 | For my brethren and companions' sake I will say, "Peace be within you!" | לְמַעַן אַחַי וְרֵעָי אֲדַבְּרָה־נָּא שָׁלֹום בָּךְ׃ | ||
