Luke: 13
22HE CONTINUED HIS JOURNEY through towns and villages, teaching as he made his way towards Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, 'Sir, are only a few to be saved?' 24His answer was: 'Struggle to get in through the narrow door; for I tell you that many will try to enter and not be able.
25'When once the master of the house has got up and locked the door, you may stand outside and knock, and say, "Sir, let us in!", but he will only answer,' "I. do not know where you come from." 26Then you will begin to say, "We sat at table with you and you taught in our streets." 27But he will repeat, "I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Out of my sight, all of you, you and your wicked ways!" 28There will be wailing and grinding of teeth there, when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrown out. 29From east and west people will come, from north and south, for the feast in the kingdom of God. 30Yes, and some who are now last will be first, and some who are first will be last.'

Matthew: 7
13'Enter by the narrow gate. The gate is wide that leads to perdition, there is plenty of room on the road, [Some witnesses read: The road that leads to perdition is wide with plenty of room.] and many go that way; 14but the gate that leads to life is small and the road is narrow, [Some witnesses read: but the road that leads to life is small and narrow.] and those who find it are few.

Matthew: 7
21'Not everyone who calls me "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of my heavenly Father. 22When that day comes, many will say to me, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out devils in your name, and in your name perform many miracles?" 23Then I will tell them to their face, "I never knew you: out of my sight, you and your wicked ways!"
