John: 12
1 SIX DAYS BEFORE the Passover festival Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived whom he had raised from the dead. 2 There a supper was given in his honour, at which Martha served, and Lazarus sat among the guests with Jesus. 3 Then Mary brought a pound of very costly perfume, oil of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped them with her hair, till the house was filled with the fragrance. 4 At this, Judas Iscariot, a disciple of his - the one who was to betray him - said, 5 'Why was this perfume not sold for thirty pounds and given to the poor?' 6 He said this, not out of any care for the poor, but because he was a thief; he used to pilfer the money put into the common purse, which was in his charge. 7 'Leave her alone', said Jesus. 'Let her keep it till the day when a she prepares for my burial, 8 for you have the poor among you always, but you will not always have me.'
Matthew: 26
Mark: 14
3 Jesus was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper. As he sat at table, a woman came in carrying a small bottle of very costly perfume, oil of pure nard. She broke it open and poured the oil over his head. 4 Some of those present said to one another angrily, 'Why this waste? 5 The perfume might have been sold for thirty pounds and the money given to the poor'; and they turned upon her with fury. 6 But Jesus said, 'Let her alone. Why must you make trouble for her? 7 It is a fine thing she has done for me. You have the poor among you always, and you can help them whenever you like; but you will not always have me. 8 She has done what lay in her power; she is beforehand with anointing my body for burial. 9 I tell you this: wherever in all the world the Gospel is proclaimed, what she has done will be told as her memorial.'

The most generally known harmonies of the Gospels are based upon the Huck-Lietzmann Synopsis (1936) of the three gospels and Sparks' Synopsis (1964) of four gospels.
Many of the passages in these harmonies are too short to display in a useful manner on a web-page.
The katapi New Study Bible Synopsis of the Gospels is based upon the headings displayed in the New Study Bible reference table which in turn follows the headings printed in the United Bible Societies' New Testament in Greek.
These sections are more useful for bible study.
Columns are arranged so that first column is your chosen heading from the bible passage list.
This column is highlighted in light grey.
The harmonies that follow across the web-page are then in the normally accepted order.
For Old Testament references quoted by New Testament authors,
you should either go back to the passage listing web-page and select the link on the 'version' column;
or click on the column heading and search through the chapter for the relevant passage;
than select the OT passage from the reference column.
