|Ἔλεγεν οὖν, Τίνι ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ τίνι ὁμοιώσω αὐτήν;
||He said therefore, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?||The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Leaven Lk.13.18-21 | Mt.13.31-33 | Mk.4.31-32
|ὁμοία ἐστὶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἐβαλεν εἰς κῆπον ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ ηὐξησεν καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς δένδρον, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατεσκήνωσεν ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις αὐ τοῦ.
||It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches."||
|Καὶ πάλιν εἶπεν, Τίνι ὁμοιώσω τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ;
||And again he said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?||
|ὁμοία ἐστὶν ζύμῃ, ἣν λαβοῦσα γυνὴ [ἐν]έκρυψεν εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία ἑως οὗ ἐζυμώθη ὁλον.
||It is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened."||
