Ἐγένετο δὲ τῇ ἑξῆς ἡμέρᾳ κατελθόντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ ὀρους συνήντησεν αὐτῷ ὀχλος πολύς.The Healing of a Boy with an Unclean Spirit Lk.9.37-43 | Mt.17.14-21 | Mk.9.14-29On the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a great crowd met him.
καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὀχλου ἐβόησεν λέγων, Διδάσκαλε, δέομαί σου ἐπιβλέψαι ἐπὶ τὸν υἱόν μου, ὅτι μονογενής μοί ἐστιν, And behold, a man from the crowd cried, "Teacher, I beg you to look upon my son, for he is my only child;
καὶ ἰδοὺ Πνεῦμα λαμβάνει αὐτόν, καὶ ἐξαίφνης κράζει, καὶ σπαράσσει αὐτὸν μετὰ ἀφροῦ καὶ μόγις ἀποχωρεῖ ἀπ' αὐτοῦ συντρῖβον αὐτόν·  and behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him till he foams, and shatters him, and will hardly leave him.
καὶ ἐδεήθην τῶν μαθητῶν σου ἵνα ἐκβάλωσιν αὐτό, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν.  And I begged your disciples to cast it out, but they could not."
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, Ὦ γενεὰ ἀπιστος καὶ διεστραμμένη, ἑως πότε ἐσομαι πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ ἀνέξομαι ὑμῶν; προσάγαγε ὧδε τὸν υἱόν σου. Jesus answered, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here."
ἐτι δὲ προσερχομένου αὐτοῦ ἐρρηξεν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον καὶ συνεσπάραξεν· ἐπετίμησεν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἀκαθάρτῳ, καὶ ἰάσατο τὸν παῖδα καὶ ἀπέδωκεν αὐτὸν τῷ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ. While he was coming, the demon tore him and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
ἐξεπλήσσοντο δὲ πάντες ἐπὶ τῇ μεγαλειότητι τοῦ θεοῦ. Πάντων δὲ θαυμαζόντων ἐπὶ πᾶσιν οἷς ἐποίει εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ,Jesus again Foretells his Death Lk.9.43-45 | Mt.17.22-23 | Mk.9.30-32And all were astonished at the majesty of God.

But while they were all marveling at everything he did, he said to his disciples,
