Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους, εἶπεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ,	When Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples,	The Plot to Kill Jesus Mt.26.1-5 \| Mk.14.1-2 \| Lk.22.1-2 \| Jn.11.45-53
Οἰδατε ὅτι μετὰ δύο ἡμέρας τὸ πάσχα γίνεται, καὶ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου παραδίδοται εἰς τὸ σταυρωθῆναι.	"You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of man will be delivered up to be crucified."
Τότε συνήχθησαν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν τοῦ ἀρχιερέως τοῦ λεγομένου Καϊάφα,	Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the palace of the high priest, who was called Ca'iaphas,
καὶ συνεβουλεύσαντο ἵνα τὸν Ἰησοῦν δόλῳ κρατήσωσιν καὶ ἀποκτείνωσιν·	and took counsel together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.
ἐλεγον δέ, Μὴ ἐν τῇ ἑορτῇ, ἵνα μὴ θόρυβος γένηται ἐν τῷ λαῷ.	But they said, "Not during the feast, lest there be a tumult among the people."
