3 ΠΡΑΞΕΙΣ ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΩΝ Acts Reference
1Πέτρος δὲ καὶ Ἰωάννης ἀνέβαινον εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν ἐπὶ τὴν ὡραν τῆς προσευχῆς τὴν ἐνάτην. Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 
2καί τις ἀνὴρ χωλὸς ἐκ κοιλίας μητρὸς αὐτοῦ ὑπάρχων ἐβαστάζετο, ὃν ἐτίθουν καθ' ἡμέραν πρὸς τὴν θύραν τοῦ ἱεροῦ τὴν λεγομένην ὡραίαν τοῦ αἰτεῖν ἐλεημοσύνην παρὰ τῶν εἰσπορευομένων εἰς τὸ ἱερόν· And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at that gate of the temple which is called Beautiful to ask alms of those who entered the temple. 
3ὃς ἰδὼν Πέτρον καὶ Ἰωάννην μέλλοντας εἰσιέναι εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν ἠρώτα ἐλεημοσύνην [λαβεῖν]. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. 
4ἀτενίσας δὲ Πέτρος εἰς αὐτὸν σὺν τῷ Ἰωάννῃ εἶπεν, Βλέψον εἰς ἡμᾶς. And Peter directed his gaze at him, with John, and said, "Look at us." 
5ὁ δὲ ἐπεῖχεν αὐτοῖς προσδοκῶν τι παρ' αὐτῶν λαβεῖν. And he fixed his attention upon them, expecting to receive something from them. 
6εἶπεν δὲ Πέτρος, Ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον οὐχ ὑπάρχει μοι, ὃ δὲ ἐχω τοῦτό σοι δίδωμι· ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ Ναζωραίου περιπάτει. But Peter said, "I have no silver and gold, but I give you what I have; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."  
7καὶ πιάσας αὐτὸν τῆς δεξιᾶς χειρὸς ἠγειρεν αὐτόν· παραχρῆμα δὲ ἐστερεώθησαν αἱ βάσεις αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ σφυδρά, And he took him by the right hand and raised him up; and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. 
8καὶ ἐξαλλόμενος ἐστη καὶ περιεπάτει, καὶ εἰσῆλθεν σὺν αὐτοῖς εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν περιπατῶν καὶ ἀλλόμενος καὶ αἰνῶν τὸν θεόν. And leaping up he stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.  
9καὶ εἶδεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς αὐτὸν περιπατοῦντα καὶ αἰνοῦντα τὸν θεόν, And all the people saw him walking and praising God, 
10ἐπεγίνωσκον δὲ αὐτὸν ὅτι αὐτὸς ἦν ὁ πρὸς τὴν ἐλεημοσύνην καθήμενος ἐπὶ τῇ Ὡραίᾳ Πύλῃ τοῦ ἱεροῦ, καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν θάμβους καὶ ἐκστάσεως ἐπὶ τῷ συμβεβηκότι αὐτῷ. and recognized him as the one who sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. 
11Κρατοῦντος δὲ αὐτοῦ τὸν Πέτρον καὶ τὸν Ἰωάννην συνέδραμεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τῇ στοᾷ τῇ καλουμένῃ Σολομῶντος ἐκθαμβοι. While he clung to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the portico called Solomon's, astounded.Peter's Speech in Solomon's Portico Ac.3.11-26

12ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ Πέτρος ἀπεκρίνατο πρὸς τὸν λαόν, Ἄνδρες Ἰσραηλῖται, τί θαυμάζετε ἐπὶ τούτῳ, ἢ ἡμῖν τί ἀτενίζετε ὡς ἰδίᾳ δυνάμει ἢ εὐσεβείᾳ πεποιηκόσιν τοῦ περιπατεῖν αὐ τόν; And when Peter saw it he addressed the people, "Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we had made him walk?  
13ὁ θεὸς ἀβραὰμ καὶ [ὁ θεὸσ] ἰσαὰκ καὶ [ὁ θεὸσ] ἰακώβ, ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν, ἐδόξασεν τὸν παῖδα αὐτοῦ Ἰησοῦν, ὃν ὑμεῖς μὲν παρεδώκατε καὶ ἠρνήσασθε κατὰ πρόσωπον Πιλάτου, κρίναντος ἐκείνου ἀπολύειν· The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him. - The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, Ac.3.13 | Ex.3.6 | Is.52.13 | Is.53.11

14ὑμεῖς δὲ τὸν ἀγιον καὶ δίκαιον ἠρνήσασθε, καὶ ᾐτήσασθε ἀνδρα φονέα χαρισθῆναι ὑμῖν, But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 
15τὸν δὲ ἀρχηγὸν τῆς ζωῆς ἀπεκτείνατε, ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἠγειρεν ἐκ νεκρῶν, οὗ ἡμεῖς μάρτυρές ἐσμεν. and killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.  
16καὶ ἐπὶ τῇ πίστει τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ τοῦτον ὃν θεωρεῖτε καὶ οἰδατε ἐστερέωσεν τὸ ὀνομα αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡ πίστις ἡ δῖ αὐτοῦ ἐδωκεν αὐτῷ τὴν ὁλοκληρίαν ταύτην ἀπέναντι πάντων ὑμῶν. And his name, by faith in his name, has made this man strong whom you see and know; and the faith which is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.  
17καὶ νῦν, ἀδελφοί, οἶδα ὅτι κατὰ ἀγνοιαν ἐπράξατε, ὡσπερ καὶ οἱ ἀρχοντες ὑμῶν· "And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.  
18ὁ δὲ θεὸς ἂ προκατήγγειλεν διὰ στόματος πάντων τῶν προφητῶν παθεῖν τὸν Χριστὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπλήρωσεν οὑτως. But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled. 
19μετανοήσατε οὖν καὶ ἐπιστρέψατε εἰς τὸ ἐξαλειφθῆναι ὑμῶν τὰς ἀμαρτίας, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,  
20ὁπως ἂν ἐλθωσιν καιροὶ ἀναψύξεως ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ κυρίου καὶ ἀποστείλῃ τὸν προκεχειρισμένον ὑμῖν Χριστόν, Ἰησοῦν, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah appointed for you, Jesus,  
21ὃν δεῖ οὐρανὸν μὲν δέξασθαι ἀχρι χρόνων ἀποκαταστάσεως πάντων ὧν ἐλάλησεν ὁ θεὸς διὰ στόματος τῶν ἀγίων ἀπ' αἰῶνος αὐτοῦ προφητῶν. whom heaven must receive until the time for establishing all that God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.  
22Μωϋσῆς μὲν εἶπεν ὅτι προφήτην ὑμῖν ἀναστήσει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν ὡς ἐμέ: αὐτοῦ ἀκούσεσθε κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἂν λαλήσῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς. Moses said, 'The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet from your brethren as he raised me up. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.- 'The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet Ac.3.22 | Dt.18.15-19

23ἔσται δὲ πᾶσα ψυχὴ ἥτις ἐὰν μὴ ἀκούσῃ τοῦ προφήτου ἐκείνου ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ. And it shall be that every soul that does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people.'- And it shall be that every soul that does not listen Ac.3.23 | Lv.23.29

24καὶ πάντες δὲ οἱ προφῆται ἀπὸ Σαμουὴλ καὶ τῶν καθεξῆς ὁσοι ἐλάλησαν καὶ κατήγγειλαν τὰς ἡμέρας ταύτας. And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came afterwards, also proclaimed these days.  
25ὑμεῖς ἐστε οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν προφητῶν καὶ τῆς διαθήκης ἧς διέθετο ὁ θεὸς πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν, λέγων πρὸς Ἀβραάμ, Καὶ ἐν τῷ σπέρματί σου [ἐν]ευλογηθήσονται πᾶσαι αἱ πατριαὶ τῆς γῆς. You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God gave to your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your posterity shall all the families of the earth be blessed.' - the covenant which God gave to your fathers Ac.3.25 | Gn.12.3 | Gn.22.18

26ὑμῖν πρῶτον ἀναστήσας ὁ θεὸς τὸν παῖδα αὐτοῦ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν εὐλογοῦντα ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ἀποστρέφειν ἑκαστον ἀπὸ τῶν πονηριῶν ὑμῶν. God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you in turning every one of you from your wickedness."
