I have used the Nestle-Aland Greek text (ed.26) available at www.tyndale.cam.ac.uk.,
modified to that of the United Bible Society Greek New Testament 1966 text.
I have added an uncial Greek text column & a shortened appendix showing the variations for the sections printed in the UBS text in square brackets. The katapi parallel New Testament displays the Greek text in verse by verse comparison with the New English Bible text (1961).
A comprehensive New Study Bible Passage table provides passage headings & cross references to parallel passages elsewhere in the Old Testament.
I have included links to introductory chapters in Grant's "Historical Introduction to the New Testament", also featured on this site.
UBS headings include UBS synoptic parallel passages, and direct Old Testament
quotation references,
referenced to the Greek Old Testament - the Septuagint || English.
The Septuagint version was the "scriptures" most used and quoted
by the evangelists on the first Gentile missions.
All database tables have been prepared in MS Access 2000, then transferred
to a MySQL database on a unix server & are displayed via PHP web-pages.
If you find any discrepancies (mismatched columns, truncated verses, any other
mistakes) please e-mail
me so that I can put things right.
