| 1 | Καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἀπὸ τοῦ Ιορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀπὸ Ιεριχω εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν τὴν ἔρημον εἰς Βαιθηλ Λουζα |
And the borders of the children of Joseph were from Jordan by Jericho eastward; and they will go up from Jericho to the hill country, to the wilderness, to Baethel Luza. | | The allotment of the descendants of Joseph went from the Jordan by Jericho, east of the waters of Jericho, into the wilderness, going up from Jericho into the hill country to Bethel; | וַיֵּצֵא הַגֹּורָל לִבְנֵי יֹוסֵף מִיַּרְדֵּן יְרִיחֹו לְמֵי יְרִיחֹו מִזְרָחָה הַמִּדְבָּר עֹלֶה מִירִיחֹו בָּהָר בֵּית־אֵל׃ |

| 2 | καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς Βαιθηλ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια τοῦ Χαταρωθι |
And they will go out to Baethel, and will proceed to the borders of Achatarothi. | | then going from Bethel to Luz, it passes along to At'aroth, the territory of the Archites; | וְיָצָא מִבֵּית־אֵל לוּזָה וְעָבַר אֶל־גְּבוּל הָאַרְכִּי עֲטָרֹות׃ |

| 3 | καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Απταλιμ ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Βαιθωρων τὴν κάτω, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν. |
And they will go across to the sea to the borders of Aptalim, as far as the borders of Baethoron the lower, and the going forth of them shall be to the sea. | | then it goes down westward to the territory of the Japh'letites, as far as the territory of Lower Beth-hor'on, then to Gezer, and it ends at the sea. | וְיָרַד־יָמָּה אֶל־גְּבוּל הַיַּפְלֵטִי עַד גְּבוּל בֵּית־חֹורֹן תַּחְתֹּון וְעַד־גָּזֶר וְהָיוּ [כ= תֹצְאֹתֹו] [ק= תֹצְאֹתָיו] יָמָּה׃ |

| 4 | Καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ, Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση· |
And the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasse, took their inheritance. | | The people of Joseph, Manas'seh and E'phraim, received their inheritance. | וַיִּנְחֲלוּ בְנֵי־יֹוסֵף מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרָיִם׃ |

| 5 | καὶ ἐγενήθη ὅρια υἱῶν Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν Αταρωθ καὶ Εροκ ἕως Βαιθωρων τὴν ἄνω καὶ Γαζαρα, |
And the borders of the children of Ephraim were according to their families, and the borders of their inheritance were eastward to Ataroth, and Eroc as far as Baethoron the upper, and Gazara. | | The territory of the E'phraimites by their families was as follows: the boundary of their inheritance on the east was At'aroth-ad'dar as far as Upper Beth-hor'on, | וַיְהִי גְּבוּל בְּנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַחֲלָתָם מִזְרָחָה עַטְרֹות אַדָּר עַד־בֵּית חֹורֹן עֶלְיֹון׃ |

| 6 | καὶ διελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς Ικασμων ἀπὸ βορρᾶ Θερμα, περιελεύσεται ἐπὶ ἀνατολὰς εἰς Θηνασα καὶ Σελλησα καὶ παρελεύσεται ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν εἰς Ιανωκα |
And the borders will proceed to the sea to Icasmon north of Therma; they will go round eastward to Thenasa, and Selles, and will pass on eastward to Janoca, | | and the boundary goes thence to the sea; on the north is Mich-me'thath; then on the east the boundary turns round toward Ta'anath-shi'loh, and passes along beyond it on the east to Jan-o'ah, | וְיָצָא הַגְּבוּל הַיָּמָּה הַמִּכְמְתָת מִצָּפֹון וְנָסַב הַגְּבוּל מִזְרָחָה תַּאֲנַת שִׁלֹה וְעָבַר אֹותֹו מִמִּזְרַח יָנֹוחָה׃ |

| 7 | καὶ εἰς Μαχω καὶ Αταρωθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐλεύσεται ἐπὶ Ιεριχω καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην, |
and to Macho, and Ataroth, and [these are] their villages; and they will come to Jericho, and will issue at Jordan. | | then it goes down from Jan-o'ah to At'aroth and to Na'arah, and touches Jericho, ending at the Jordan. | וְיָרַד מִיָּנֹוחָה עֲטָרֹות וְנַעֲרָתָה וּפָגַע בִּירִיחֹו וְיָצָא הַיַּרְדֵּן׃ |

| 8 | καὶ ἀπὸ Ταφου πορεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐπὶ Χελκανα, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν· αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. |
And the borders will proceed from Tapho to the sea to Chelcana; and their termination will be at the sea; this [is] the inheritance of the tribe of Ephraim according to their families. | | From Tap'puah the boundary goes westward to the brook Kanah, and ends at the sea. Such is the inheritance of the tribe of the E'phraimites by their families, | מִתַּפּוּחַ יֵלֵךְ הַגְּבוּל יָמָּה נַחַל קָנָה וְהָיוּ תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃ |

| 9 | καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἀφορισθεῖσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Εφραιμ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς κληρονομίας υἱῶν Μανασση, πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. - |
And the cities separated to the sons of Ephraim [were] in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasse, all the cities and their villages. | | together with the towns which were set apart for the E'phraimites within the inheritance of the Manas'sites, all those towns with their villages. | וְהֶעָרִים הַמִּבְדָּלֹות לִבְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם בְּתֹוךְ נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁה כָּל־הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 10 | καὶ οὐκ ἀπώλεσεν Εφραιμ τὸν Χαναναῖον τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν Γαζερ, καὶ κατῴκει ὁ Χαναναῖος ἐν τῷ Εφραιμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης, ἕως ἀνέβη Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐνέπρησεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί, καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Φερεζαίους καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Γαζερ ἐξεκέντησαν, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Φαραω ἐν φερνῇ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ. |
And Ephraim did not destroy the Chananite who dwelt in Gazer; and the Chananite dwelt in Ephraim until this day, until Pharao the king of Egypt went up and took it, and burnt it with fire; and the Chananites, and Pherezites, and the dwellers in Gaza they destroyed, and Pharao gave them for a dowry to his daughter. | | However they did not drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: so the Canaanites have dwelt in the midst of E'phraim to this day but have become slaves to do forced labor. | וְלֹא הֹורִישׁוּ אֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִי הַיֹּושֵׁב בְּגָזֶר וַיֵּשֶׁב הַכְּנַעֲנִי בְּקֶרֶב אֶפְרַיִם עַד־הַיֹּום הַזֶּה וַיְהִי לְמַס־עֹבֵד׃ ף |
