And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, | Laws about sacrifice. Nu.15.1-31 | The LORD said to Moses, | וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃ |

| 2 | Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ὅταν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν τῆς κατοικήσεως ὑμῶν, ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ὑμῖν, |
Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you are come into the land of your habitation, which I give to you, | | "Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I give you, | דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי תָבֹאוּ אֶל־אֶרֶץ מֹושְׁבֹתֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם׃ |

| 3 | καὶ ποιήσεις ὁλοκαυτώματα κυρίῳ, ὁλοκάρπωμα ἢ θυσίαν, μεγαλῦναι εὐχὴν ἢ καθ' ἑκούσιον ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἑορταῖς ὑμῶν ποιῆσαι ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ, εἰ μὲν ἀπὸ τῶν βοῶν ἢ ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων, |
and you will offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, a whole-burnt-offering or a meat-offering to perform a vow, or a free-will offering, or to offer in your feasts a sacrifice of sweet savour to the Lord, whether of the herd or the flock: | | and you offer to the LORD from the herd or from the flock an offering by fire or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfil a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing odor to the LORD, | וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה עֹלָה אֹו־זֶבַח לְפַלֵּא־נֶדֶר אֹו בִנְדָבָה אֹו בְּמֹעֲדֵיכֶם לַעֲשֹׂות רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה מִן־הַבָּקָר אֹו מִן־הַצֹּאן׃ |

| 4 | καὶ προσοίσει ὁ προσφέρων τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ κυρίῳ θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως δέκατον τοῦ οιφι ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ ἐν τετάρτῳ τοῦ ιν· |
then he that offers his gift to the Lord shall bring a meat-offering of fine flour, a tenth part of an ephah mingled with oil, even with the fourth part of a hin. | | then he who brings his offering shall offer to the LORD a cereal offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil; | וְהִקְרִיב הַמַּקְרִיב קָרְבָּנֹו לַיהוָה מִנְחָה סֹלֶת עִשָּׂרֹון בָּלוּל בִּרְבִעִית הַהִין שָׁמֶן׃ |

| 5 | καὶ οἶνον εἰς σπονδὴν τὸ τέταρτον τοῦ ιν ποιήσετε ἐπὶ τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως ἢ ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας· τῷ ἀμνῷ τῷ ἑνὶ ποιήσεις τοσοῦτο, κάρπωμα ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας τῷ κυρίῳ. |
And for a drink-offering you shall offer the fourth part of a hin on the whole-burnt-offering, or on the meat-offering: for every lamb you shall offer so much, as a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. | | and wine for the drink offering, a fourth of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb. | וְיַיִן לַנֶּסֶךְ רְבִיעִית הַהִין תַּעֲשֶׂה עַל־הָעֹלָה אֹו לַזָּבַח לַכֶּבֶשׂ הָאֶחָד׃ |

| 6 | καὶ τῷ κριῷ, ὅταν ποιῆτε αὐτὸν ἢ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ εἰς θυσίαν, ποιήσεις θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως δύο δέκατα ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ, τὸ τρίτον τοῦ ιν· |
And for a ram, when you offer it as a whole-burnt-offering or as a sacrifice, you shall prepare as a meat-offering two tenths of fine flour mingled with oil, the third part of a hin. | | Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a cereal offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil; | אֹו לָאַיִל תַּעֲשֶׂה מִנְחָה סֹלֶת שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן שְׁלִשִׁית הַהִין׃ |

| 7 | καὶ οἶνον εἰς σπονδὴν τὸ τρίτον τοῦ ιν προσοίσετε εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ. |
And you shall offer for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord wine for a drink-offering, the third part of a hin. | | and for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a pleasing odor to the LORD. | וְיַיִן לַנֶּסֶךְ שְׁלִשִׁית הַהִין תַּקְרִיב רֵיחַ־נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃ |

| 8 | ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν βοῶν ποιῆτε εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ εἰς θυσίαν μεγαλῦναι εὐχὴν ἢ εἰς σωτήριον κυρίῳ, |
And if you sacrifice [a bullock] from the herd for a whole-burnt-offering or for a sacrifice, to perform a vow or a peace-offering to the Lord, | | And when you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to fulfil a vow, or for peace offerings to the LORD, | וְכִי־תַעֲשֶׂה בֶן־בָּקָר עֹלָה אֹו־זָבַח לְפַלֵּא־נֶדֶר אֹו־שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה׃ |
8 |
| 9 | καὶ προσοίσει ἐπὶ τοῦ μόσχου θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως τρία δέκατα ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ ἥμισυ τοῦ ιν |
then [the worshipper] shall offer upon the calf a meat-offering, three tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, [even] the half of a hin. | | then one shall offer with the bull a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil, | וְהִקְרִיב עַל־בֶּן־הַבָּקָר מִנְחָה סֹלֶת שְׁלֹשָׁה עֶשְׂרֹנִים בָּלוּל בַּשֶּׁמֶן חֲצִי הַהִין׃ |

| 10 | καὶ οἶνον εἰς σπονδὴν τὸ ἥμισυ τοῦ ιν κάρπωμα ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ. |
And wine for a drink-offering the half of a hin, a sacrifice for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. | | and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD. | וְיַיִן תַּקְרִיב לַנֶּסֶךְ חֲצִי הַהִין אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ־נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃ |

| 11 | οὕτως ποιήσεις τῷ μόσχῳ τῷ ἑνὶ ἢ τῷ κριῷ τῷ ἑνὶ ἢ τῷ ἀμνῷ τῷ ἑνὶ ἐκ τῶν προβάτων ἢ ἐκ τῶν αἰγῶν· |
Thus shall you do to one calf or to one ram, or to one lamb of the sheep or kid of the goats. | | "Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each of the male lambs or the kids. | כָּכָה יֵעָשֶׂה לַשֹּׁור הָאֶחָד אֹו לָאַיִל הָאֶחָד אֹו־לַשֶּׂה בַכְּבָשִׂים אֹו בָעִזִּים׃ |

| 12 | κατὰ τὸν ἀριθμὸν ὧν ἐὰν ποιήσητε, οὕτω ποιήσετε τῷ ἑνὶ κατὰ τὸν ἀριθμὸν αὐτῶν. |
According to the number of what you shall offer, so shall you do to each one, according to their number. | | According to the number that you prepare, so shall you do with every one according to their number. | כַּמִּסְפָּר אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשׂוּ כָּכָה תַּעֲשׂוּ לָאֶחָד כְּמִסְפָּרָם׃ |

| 13 | πᾶς ὁ αὐτόχθων ποιήσει οὕτως τοιαῦτα, προσενέγκαι καρπώματα εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ. |
Every native of the country shall do thus to offer such things as sacrifices for a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. | | All who are native shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD. | כָּל־הָאֶזְרָח יַעֲשֶׂה־כָּכָה אֶת־אֵלֶּה לְהַקְרִיב אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ־נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃ |
13 |
| 14 | ἐὰν δὲ προσήλυτος ἐν ὑμῖν προσγένηται ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν ἢ ὃς ἂν γένηται ἐν ὑμῖν ἐν ταῖς γενεαῖς ὑμῶν, καὶ ποιήσει κάρπωμα ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ· ὃν τρόπον ποιεῖτε ὑμεῖς, οὕτως ποιήσει ἡ συναγωγὴ κυρίῳ. |
And if there should be a stranger among you in your land, or one who should be born to you among your generations, and he will offer a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord-- as you do, so the [whole] congregation shall offer to the Lord. | | And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or any one is among you throughout your generations, and he wishes to offer an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD, he shall do as you do. | וְכִי־יָגוּר אִתְּכֶם גֵּר אֹו אֲשֶׁר־בְּתֹוכְכֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם וְעָשָׂה אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ־נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשׂוּ כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה׃ |
14 |
| 15 | νόμος εἷς ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ τοῖς προσηλύτοις τοῖς προσκειμένοις ἐν ὑμῖν, νόμος αἰώνιος εἰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν· ὡς ὑμεῖς, καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος ἔσται ἔναντι κυρίου· |
There shall be one law for you an for the strangers abiding among you, a perpetual law for your generations: as you [are], so shall the stranger be before the Lord. | | For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the sojourner be before the LORD. | הַקָּהָל חֻקָּה אַחַת לָכֶם וְלַגֵּר הַגָּר חֻקַּת עֹולָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם כָּכֶם כַּגֵּר יִהְיֶה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה׃ |
15 |
| 16 | νόμος εἷς ἔσται καὶ δικαίωμα ἓν ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ τῷ προσκειμένῳ ἐν ὑμῖν. |
There shall be one law and one ordinance for you, and for the stranger that abides among you. | | One law and one ordinance shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you." | תֹּורָה אַחַת וּמִשְׁפָּט אֶחָד יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְלַגֵּר הַגָּר אִתְּכֶם׃ ף |

| 17 | Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων |
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, | | The LORD said to Moses, | וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃ |

| 18 | Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἑν τῷ εἰσπορεύεσθαι ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν, εἰς ἣν ἐγὼ εἰσάγω ὑμᾶς ἐκεῖ, |
Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you are entering into the land, into which I bring you, | | "Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land to which I bring you | דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם בְּבֹאֲכֶם אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מֵבִיא אֶתְכֶם שָׁמָּה׃ |
18 |
| 19 | καὶ ἔσται ὅταν ἔσθητε ὑμεῖς ἀπὸ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς γῆς, ἀφελεῖτε ἀφαίρεμα ἀφόρισμα κυρίῳ· |
then it shall come to pass, when you shall eat of the bread of the land, you shall separate a wave-offering, a special offering to the Lord, the first-fruits of your dough. | | and when you eat of the food of the land, you shall present an offering to the LORD. | וְהָיָה בַּאֲכָלְכֶם מִלֶּחֶם הָאָרֶץ תָּרִימוּ תְרוּמָה לַיהוָה׃ |

| 20 | ἀπαρχὴν φυράματος ὑμῶν ἄρτον ἀφαίρεμα ἀφοριεῖτε αὐτό· ὡς ἀφαίρεμα ἀπὸ ἅλω, οὕτως ἀφελεῖτε αὐτόν, |
Ye shall offer your bread a heave-offering: as a heave-offering from the threshing-floor, so shall you separate it, | | Of the first of your coarse meal you shall present a cake as an offering; as an offering from the threshing floor, so shall you present it. | רֵאשִׁית עֲרִסֹתֵכֶם חַלָּה תָּרִימוּ תְרוּמָה כִּתְרוּמַת גֹּרֶן כֵּן תָּרִימוּ אֹתָהּ׃ |
20 |
| 21 | ἀπαρχὴν φυράματος ὑμῶν, καὶ δώσετε κυρίῳ ἀφαίρεμα εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν. |
even the first-fruits of your dough, and you shall give the Lord a heave-offering throughout your generations. | | Of the first of your coarse meal you shall give to the LORD an offering throughout your generations. | מֵרֵאשִׁית עֲרִסֹתֵיכֶם תִּתְּנוּ לַיהוָה תְּרוּמָה לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃ ס |
21 |
| 22 | Ὅταν δὲ διαμάρτητε καὶ μὴ ποιήσητε πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς ταύτας, ἃς ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν, |
But whenever you shall transgress, and not perform all these commands, which the Lord spoke to Moses; | | "But if you err, and do not observe all these commandments which the LORD has spoken to Moses, | וְכִי תִשְׁגּוּ וְלֹא תַעֲשׂוּ אֵת כָּל־הַמִּצְוֹת הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה׃ |
22 |
| 23 | καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας, ἧς συνέταξεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἐπέκεινα εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν, |
as the Lord appointed you by the hand of Moses, from the day which the Lord appointed you and forward throughout your generations, | | all that the LORD has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the LORD gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations, | אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֲלֵיכֶם בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה מִן־הַיֹּום אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה וָהָלְאָה לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃ |
23 |
| 24 | καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν ἐξ ὀφθαλμῶν τῆς συναγωγῆς γενηθῇ ἀκουσίως, καὶ ποιήσει πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βοῶν ἄμωμον εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ καὶ θυσίαν τούτου καὶ σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὴν σύνταξιν καὶ χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγῶν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας. |
then it shall come to pass, if a trespass be committed unwillingly, unknown to the congregation, then shall all the congregation offer a calf of the herd without blemish for a whole-burnt-offering of sweet savour to the Lord, and its meat-offering and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering. | | then if it was done unwittingly without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, a pleasing odor to the LORD, with its cereal offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering. | וְהָיָה אִם מֵעֵינֵי הָעֵדָה נֶעֶשְׂתָה לִשְׁגָגָה וְעָשׂוּ כָל־הָעֵדָה פַּר בֶּן־בָּקָר אֶחָד לְעֹלָה לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה וּמִנְחָתֹו וְנִסְכֹּו כַּמִּשְׁפָּט וּשְׂעִיר־עִזִּים אֶחָד לְחַטָּת׃ |

| 25 | καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ὁ ἱερεὺς περὶ πάσης συναγωγῆς υἱῶν Ισραηλ, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτοῖς· ὅτι ἀκούσιόν ἐστιν, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἤνεγκαν τὸ δῶρον αὐτῶν κάρπωμα κυρίῳ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου περὶ τῶν ἀκουσίων αὐτῶν. |
And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and [the trespass] shall be forgiven them, because it is involuntary; and they have brought their gift, a burnt-offering to the Lord for their trespass before the Lord, even for their involuntary sins. | | And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; because it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error. | וְכִפֶּר הַכֹּהֵן עַל־כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְנִסְלַח לָהֶם כִּי־שְׁגָגָה הִוא וְהֵם הֵבִיאוּ אֶת־קָרְבָּנָם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה וְחַטָּאתָם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה עַל־שִׁגְגָתָם׃ |
25 |
| 26 | καὶ ἀφεθήσεται κατὰ πᾶσαν συναγωγὴν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ τῷ προσκειμένῳ πρὸς ὑμᾶς, ὅτι παντὶ τῷ λαῷ ἀκούσιον. - |
And it shall be forgiven as respects all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that is abiding among you, because [it is] involuntary to all the people. | | And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the error. | וְנִסְלַח לְכָל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם כִּי לְכָל־הָעָם בִּשְׁגָגָה׃ ס |
26 |
| 27 | ἐὰν δὲ ψυχὴ μία ἁμάρτῃ ἀκουσίως, προσάξει αἶγα μίαν ἐνιαυσίαν περὶ ἁμαρτίας, |
And if one soul sin unwillingly, he shall bring one she-goat of a year old for a sin-offering. | | "If one person sins unwittingly, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering. | וְאִם־נֶפֶשׁ אַחַת תֶּחֱטָא בִשְׁגָגָה וְהִקְרִיבָה עֵז בַּת־שְׁנָתָהּ לְחַטָּאת׃ |
27 |
| 28 | καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ὁ ἱερεὺς περὶ τῆς ψυχῆς τῆς ἀκουσιασθείσης καὶ ἁμαρτούσης ἀκουσίως ἔναντι κυρίου ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ αὐτοῦ. |
And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that committed the trespass unwillingly, and that sinned unwillingly before the Lord, to make atonement for him. | | And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who commits an error, when he sins unwittingly, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven. | וְכִפֶּר הַכֹּהֵן עַל־הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַשֹּׁגֶגֶת בְּחֶטְאָה בִשְׁגָגָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לְכַפֵּר עָלָיו וְנִסְלַח לֹו׃ |
28 |
| 29 | τῷ ἐγχωρίῳ ἐν υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ τῷ προσκειμένῳ ἐν αὐτοῖς, νόμος εἷς ἔσται αὐτοῖς, ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ἀκουσίως. |
There shall be one law for the native among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that abides among them, whosoever shall commit a trespass unwillingly. | | You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native among the people of Israel, and for the stranger who sojourns among them. | הָאֶזְרָח בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם תֹּורָה אַחַת יִהְיֶה לָכֶם לָעֹשֶׂה בִּשְׁגָגָה׃ |
29 |
| 30 | καὶ ψυχή, ἥτις ποιήσει ἐν χειρὶ ὑπερηφανίας ἀπὸ τῶν αὐτοχθόνων ἢ ἀπὸ τῶν προσηλύτων, τὸν θεὸν οὗτος παροξύνει· ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς, |
And whatever soul either of the natives or of the strangers shall do any thing with a presumptuous hand, he will provoke God; that soul shall be cut off from his people, | | But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the LORD, and that person shall be cut off from among his people. | וְהַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־תַּעֲשֶׂה בְּיָד רָמָה מִן־הָאֶזְרָח וּמִן־הַגֵּר אֶת־יְהוָה הוּא מְגַדֵּף וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ׃ |
30 |
| 31 | ὅτι τὸ ῥῆμα κυρίου ἐφαύλισεν καὶ τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ διεσκέδασεν, ἐκτρίψει ἐκτριβήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη, ἡ ἁμαρτία αὐτῆς ἐν αὐτῇ. |

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Let the man be by all means put to death: [do ye] all the congregation, stone him with stones. | | And the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp." | וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה מֹות יוּמַת הָאִישׁ רָגֹום אֹתֹו בָאֲבָנִים כָּל־הָעֵדָה מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה׃ |

| 38 | Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτοὺς καὶ ποιησάτωσαν ἑαυτοῖς κράσπεδα ἐπὶ τὰ πτερύγια τῶν ἱματίων αὐτῶν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπιθήσετε ἐπὶ τὰ κράσπεδα τῶν πτερυγίων κλῶσμα ὑακίνθινον. |
Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall tell them; and let them make for themselves fringes upon the borders of their garments throughout their generations: and you shall put upon the fringes of the borders a lace of blue. | | "Speak to the people of Israel, and bid them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put upon the tassel of each corner a cord of blue; | דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם וְעָשׂוּ לָהֶם צִיצִת עַל־כַּנְפֵי בִגְדֵיהֶם לְדֹרֹתָם וְנָתְנוּ עַל־צִיצִת הַכָּנָף פְּתִיל תְּכֵלֶת׃ |

| 39 | καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν ἐν τοῖς κρασπέδοις καὶ ὄψεσθε αὐτὰ καὶ μνησθήσεσθε πασῶν τῶν ἐντολῶν κυρίου καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτὰς καὶ οὐ διαστραφήσεσθε ὀπίσω τῶν διανοιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ὀπίσω τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν ὑμῶν, ἐν οἷς ὑμεῖς ἐκπορνεύετε ὀπίσω αὐτῶν, |
And it shall be on your fringes, and you shall look on them, and you shall remember all the commands of the Lord, and do them: and you shall not turn back after your imaginations, and after [the sight of your] eyes in the things after which you go a whoring; | | and it shall be to you a tassel to look upon and remember all the commandments of the LORD, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to go after wantonly. | וְהָיָה לָכֶם לְצִיצִת וּרְאִיתֶם אֹתֹו וּזְכַרְתֶּם אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֹת יְהוָה וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם וְלֹא־תָתֻרוּ אַחֲרֵי לְבַבְכֶם וְאַחֲרֵי עֵינֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּם זֹנִים אַחֲרֵיהֶם׃ |

| 40 | ὅπως ἂν μνησθῆτε καὶ ποιήσητε πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ ἔσεσθε ἅγιοι τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν. |
that you may remember and perform all my commands, and you shall be holy to your God. | | So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. | לְמַעַן תִּזְכְּרוּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֹתָי וִהְיִיתֶם קְדֹשִׁים לֵאלֹהֵיכֶם׃ |

| 41 | ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ ἐξαγαγῶν ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου εἶναι ὑμῶν θεός, ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν. |
I [am] the Lord your God that brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] the Lord your God. | | I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God." | אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר הֹוצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לִהְיֹות לָכֶם לֵאלֹהִים אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃ ף |
