Καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων |
And the word of the Lord came to me saying |
The shepherds of Israel. Eze.34.1-10 |
The word of the LORD came to me: | וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר׃ |

Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας τοῦ Ισραηλ, προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ποιμέσι Τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ὦ ποιμένες Ισραηλ, μὴ βόσκουσιν ποιμένες ἑαυτούς; οὐ τὰ πρόβατα βόσκουσιν οἱ ποιμένες; |
Son of man prophesy against the shepherds of Israel prophesy and say to the shepherds Thus saith the Lord God; O shepherds of Israel |

"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord GOD: Ho, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep? | בֶּן־אָדָם הִנָּבֵא עַל־רֹועֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הִנָּבֵא וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם לָרֹעִים כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הֹוי רֹעֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ רֹעִים אֹותָם הֲלֹוא הַצֹּאן יִרְעוּ הָרֹעִים׃ |

ἰδοὺ τὸ γάλα κατέσθετε καὶ τὰ ἔρια περιβάλλεσθε καὶ τὸ παχὺ σφάζετε καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου οὐ βόσκετε· |
Behold ye feed on the milk and clothe yourselves with the wool and slay the fat: but ye feed not my sheep. |

You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fatlings; but you do not feed the sheep. | אֶת־הַחֵלֶב תֹּאכֵלוּ וְאֶת־הַצֶּמֶר תִּלְבָּשׁוּ הַבְּרִיאָה תִּזְבָּחוּ הַצֹּאן לֹא תִרְעוּ׃ |

τὸ ἠσθενηκὸς οὐκ ἐνισχύσατε καὶ τὸ κακῶς ἔχον οὐκ ἐσωματοποιήσατε καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον οὐ κατεδήσατε καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον οὐκ ἐπεστρέψατε καὶ τὸ ἀπολωλὸς οὐκ ἐζητήσατε καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν κατειργάσασθε μόχθῳ. |
The weak one ye have not strengthened and the sick ye have not cherished and the bruised ye have not bound up and the stray one ye have not turned back and the lost ye have not sought; and the strong ye have wearied with labour. |

The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the crippled you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them. | אֶת־הַנַּחְלֹות לֹא חִזַּקְתֶּם וְאֶת־הַחֹולָה לֹא־רִפֵּאתֶם וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּרֶת לֹא חֲבַשְׁתֶּם וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּחַת לֹא הֲשֵׁבֹתֶם וְאֶת־הָאֹבֶדֶת לֹא בִקַּשְׁתֶּם וּבְחָזְקָה רְדִיתֶם אֹתָם וּבְפָרֶךְ׃ |

καὶ διεσπάρη τὰ πρόβατά μου διὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ ἀγροῦ· |
And my sheep were scattered because there were no shepherds: and they became meat to all the wild beasts of the field. |

So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the wild beasts. | וַתְּפוּצֶינָה מִבְּלִי רֹעֶה וַתִּהְיֶינָה לְאָכְלָה לְכָל־חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה וַתְּפוּצֶינָה׃ |

καὶ διεσπάρη μου τὰ πρόβατα ἐν παντὶ ὄρει καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν βουνὸν ὑψηλὸν καὶ ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς διεσπάρη, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐκζητῶν οὐδὲ ὁ ἀποστρέφων. |
And my sheep were scattered on every mountain and on every high hill: yea they were scattered on the face of the earth and there was none to seek them out nor to bring them back. |

My sheep were scattered, they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill; my sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them. | יִשְׁגּוּ צֹאנִי בְּכָל־הֶהָרִים וְעַל כָּל־גִּבְעָה רָמָה וְעַל כָּל־פְּנֵי הָאָרֶץ נָפֹצוּ צֹאנִי וְאֵין דֹּורֵשׁ וְאֵין מְבַקֵּשׁ׃ |

διὰ τοῦτο, ποιμένες, ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου |
Therefore ye shepherds hear the word of the Lord. |

"Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: | לָכֵן רֹעִים שִׁמְעוּ אֶת־דְּבַר יְהוָה׃ |

Ζῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος κύριος, εἰ μὴν ἀντὶ τοῦ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς προνομὴν καὶ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ πεδίου παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας, καὶ οὐκ ἐξεζήτησαν οἱ ποιμένες τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ ἐβόσκησαν οἱ ποιμένες ἑαυτούς, τὰ δὲ πρόβατά μου οὐκ ἐβόσκησαν, |
[As] I live saith the Lord God surely because my sheep became a prey and my sheep became meat to all the wild beasts of the field because there were no shepherds |

As I live, says the Lord GOD, because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd; and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep; | חַי־אָנִי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אִם־לֹא יַעַן הֱיֹות־צֹאנִי לָבַז וַתִּהְיֶינָה צֹאנִי לְאָכְלָה לְכָל־חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה מֵאֵין רֹעֶה וְלֹא־דָרְשׁוּ רֹעַי אֶת־צֹאנִי וַיִּרְעוּ הָרֹעִים אֹותָם וְאֶת־צֹאנִי לֹא רָעוּ׃ ס |

ἀντὶ τούτου, ποιμένες, |
For this cause O shepherds |

therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: | לָכֵן הָרֹעִים שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר־יְהוָה׃ |
9 |
| 10 |
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας καὶ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀποστρέψω αὐτοὺς τοῦ μὴ ποιμαίνειν τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ οὐ βοσκήσουσιν ἔτι οἱ ποιμένες αὐτά· καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται αὐτοῖς ἔτι εἰς κατάβρωμα. |
thus saith the Lord God Behold I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hands and will turn them back that they shall not feed my sheep and the shepherds shall no longer feed them; and I will deliver my sheep out of their mouth |

Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and put a stop to their feeding the sheep; no longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them. | כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי אֶל־הָרֹעִים וְדָרַשְׁתִּי אֶת־צֹאנִי מִיָּדָם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים מֵרְעֹות צֹאן וְלֹא־יִרְעוּ עֹוד הָרֹעִים אֹותָם וְהִצַּלְתִּי צֹאנִי מִפִּיהֶם וְלֹא־תִהְיֶיןָ לָהֶם לְאָכְלָה׃ ס |

διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐπισκέψομαι αὐτά. |
For thus saith the Lord God Behold I will seek out my sheep and will visit them. |
The good shepherd. Eze.34.11-31 |
"For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. | כִּי כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי־אָנִי וְדָרַשְׁתִּי אֶת־צֹאנִי וּבִקַּרְתִּים׃ |

ὥσπερ ζητεῖ ὁ ποιμὴν τὸ ποίμνιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ, ὅταν ᾖ γνόφος καὶ νεφέλη ἐν μέσῳ προβάτων διακεχωρισμένων, οὕτως ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἀπελάσω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ παντὸς τόπου, οὗ διεσπάρησαν ἐκεῖ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ νεφέλης καὶ γνόφου. |
As the shepherd seeks his flock in the day when there is darkness and cloud in the midst of the sheep that are separated: so will I seek out my sheep and will bring them back from every place where they were scattered in the day of cloud and darkness. |

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when some of his sheep have been scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. | כְּבַקָּרַת רֹעֶה עֶדְרֹו בְּיֹום־הֱיֹותֹו בְתֹוךְ־צֹאנֹו נִפְרָשֹׁות כֵּן אֲבַקֵּר אֶת־צֹאנִי וְהִצַּלְתִּי אֶתְהֶם מִכָּל־הַמְּקֹומֹת אֲשֶׁר נָפֹצוּ שָׁם בְּיֹום עָןָן וַעֲרָפֶל׃ |

καὶ ἐξάξω αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῶν χωρῶν καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ τῆς γῆς· |
And I will bring them out from the Gentiles and will gather them from the countries and will bring them into their own land and will feed them upon the mountains of Israel and in the valleys |

And I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the fountains, and in all the inhabited places of the country. | וְהֹוצֵאתִים מִן־הָעַמִּים וְקִבַּצְתִּים מִן־הָאֲרָצֹות וַהֲבִיאֹתִים אֶל־אַדְמָתָם וּרְעִיתִים אֶל־הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאֲפִיקִים וּבְכֹל מֹושְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ׃ |

ἐν νομῇ ἀγαθῇ βοσκήσω αὐτούς, καὶ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ ὑψηλῷ Ισραηλ ἔσονται αἱ μάνδραι αὐτῶν· ἐκεῖ κοιμηθήσονται καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀναπαύσονται ἐν τρυφῇ ἀγαθῇ καὶ ἐν νομῇ πίονι βοσκηθήσονται ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων Ισραηλ. |
I will feed them in a good pasture on a high mountain of Israel: and their folds shall be there and they shall lie down and there shall they rest in perfect prosperity and they shall feed in a fat pasture on the mountains of Israel. |

I will feed them with good pasture, and upon the mountain heights of Israel shall be their pasture; there they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on fat pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. | בְּמִרְעֶה־טֹּוב אֶרְעֶה אֹתָם וּבְהָרֵי מְרֹום־יִשְׂרָאֵל יִהְיֶה נְוֵהֶם שָׁם תִּרְבַּצְנָה בְּנָוֶה טֹּוב וּמִרְעֶה שָׁמֵן תִּרְעֶינָה אֶל־הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |

ἐγὼ βοσκήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐγὼ ἀναπαύσω αὐτά, καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος. τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος |
I will feed my sheep and I will cause them to rest; and they shall know that I am the Lord: thus saith the Lord God. |

I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will make them lie down, says the Lord GOD. | אֲנִי אֶרְעֶה צֹאנִי וַאֲנִי אַרְבִּיצֵם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ |
15 |

Τὸ ἀπολωλὸς ζητήσω καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον ἐπιστρέψω καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον καταδήσω καὶ τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐνισχύσω καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν φυλάξω καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτὰ μετὰ κρίματος. |
I will seek that which is lost and I will recover the stray one and will bind up that which was broken and will strengthen the fainting and will guard the strong |

I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the crippled, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will watch over; I will feed them in justice. | אֶת־הָאֹבֶדֶת אֲבַקֵּשׁ וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּחַת אָשִׁיב וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּרֶת אֶחֱבֹשׁ וְאֶת־הַחֹולָה אֲחַזֵּק וְאֶת־הַשְּׁמֵנָה וְאֶת־הַחֲזָקָה אַשְׁמִיד אֶרְעֶנָּה בְמִשְׁפָּט׃ |

καὶ ὑμεῖς, πρόβατα, τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου καὶ προβάτου, κριῶν καὶ τράγων· |
And [as for] you ye sheep thus saith the Lord God Behold I will distinguish between sheep and sheep |

"As for you, my flock, thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, rams and he-goats. | וְאַתֵּנָה צֹאנִי כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי שֹׁפֵט בֵּין־שֶׂה לָשֶׂה לָאֵילִים וְלָעַתּוּדִים׃ |
17 |

καὶ οὐχ ἱκανὸν ὑμῖν ὅτι τὴν καλὴν νομὴν ἐνέμεσθε, καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα τῆς νομῆς ὑμῶν κατεπατεῖτε τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν· καὶ τὸ καθεστηκὸς ὕδωρ ἐπίνετε καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν ἐταράσσετε· |
And [is it] not enough for you that ye fed on the good pasture that ye trampled with your feet the remnant of your pasture? and [that] ye drank the standing water [that] ye disturbed the residue with your feet? |

Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must foul the rest with your feet? | הַמְעַט םִכֶּם הַמִּרְעֶה הַטֹּוב תִּרְעוּ וְיֶתֶר מִרְעֵיכֶם תִּרְמְסוּ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶם וּמִשְׁקַע־מַיִם תִּשְׁתּוּ וְאֵת הַנֹּותָרִים בְּרַגְלֵיכֶם תִּרְפֹּשׂוּן׃ |

καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου τὰ πατήματα τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐνέμοντο καὶ τὸ τεταραγμένον ὕδωρ ὑπὸ τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἔπινον. |
So my sheep fed on that which ye had trampled with your feet; and they drank the water that had been disturbed by your feet. |

And must my sheep eat what you have trodden with your feet, and drink what you have fouled with your feet? | וְצֹאנִי מִרְמַס רַגְלֵיכֶם תִּרְעֶינָה וּמִרְפַּשׂ רַגְלֵיכֶם תִּשְׁתֶּינָה׃ ס |
19 |

διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἰσχυροῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἀσθενοῦς. |
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold I will separate between the strong sheep and the weak sheep. |

"Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD to them: Behold, I, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. | לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אֲלֵיהֶם הִנְנִי־אָנִי וְשָׁפַטְתִּי בֵּין־שֶׂה בִרְיָה וּבֵין שֶׂה רָזָה׃ |

ἐπὶ ταῖς πλευραῖς καὶ τοῖς ὤμοις ὑμῶν διωθεῖσθε καὶ τοῖς κέρασιν ὑμῶν ἐκερατίζετε καὶ πᾶν τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐξεθλίβετε. |
Ye did thrust with your sides and shoulders and pushed with your horns and ye cruelly treated all the sick. |
|
Because you push with side and shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad, | יַעַן בְּצַד וּבְכָתֵף תֶּהְדֹּפוּ וּבְקַרְנֵיכֶם תְּנַגְּחוּ כָּל־הַנַּחְלֹות עַד אֲשֶׁר הֲפִיצֹותֶם אֹותָנָה אֶל־הַחוּצָה׃ |
21 |
| 22 |
καὶ σώσω τὰ πρόβατά μου, καὶ οὐ μὴ ὦσιν ἔτι εἰς προνομήν, καὶ κρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον κριοῦ πρὸς κριόν. |
Therefore I will save my sheep and they shall not be any more for a prey; and will judge between ram and ram. |

I will save my flock, they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. | וְהֹושַׁעְתִּי לְצֹאנִי וְלֹא־תִהְיֶינָה עֹוד לָבַז וְשָׁפַטְתִּי בֵּין שֶׂה לָשֶׂה׃ |
22 |
| 23 |
καὶ ἀναστήσω ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ποιμένα ἕνα καὶ ποιμανεῖ αὐτούς, τὸν δοῦλόν μου Δαυιδ, καὶ ἔσται αὐτῶν ποιμήν· |
And I will raise up one shepherd over them and he shall tend them [even] my servant David and he shall be their shepherd; |

And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd. | וַהֲקִמֹתִי עֲלֵיהֶם רֹעֶה אֶחָד וְרָעָה אֶתְהֶן אֵת עַבְדִּי דָוִיד הוּא יִרְעֶה אֹתָם וְהוּא־יִהְיֶה לָהֶן לְרֹעֶה׃ |
23 |
| 24 |
καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν, καὶ Δαυιδ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἄρχων· ἐγὼ κύριος ἐλάλησα. |
and I the Lord will be to them a God and David a prince in the midst of them; I the Lord have spoken it. |

And I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken. | וַאֲנִי יְהוָה אֶהְיֶה לָהֶם לֵאלֹהִים וְעַבְדִּי דָוִד נָשִׂיא בְתֹוכָם אֲנִי יְהוָה דִּבַּרְתִּי׃ |

καὶ διαθήσομαι τῷ Δαυιδ διαθήκην εἰρήνης καὶ ἀφανιῶ θηρία πονηρὰ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ὑπνώσουσιν ἐν τοῖς δρυμοῖς. |
And I will make with David a covenant of peace and I will utterly destroy evil beasts from off the land; and they shall dwell in the wilderness and sleep in the forests. |

"I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. | וְכָרַתִּי לָהֶם בְּרִית שָׁלֹום וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי חַיָּה־רָעָה מִן־הָאָרֶץ וְיָשְׁבוּ בַמִּדְבָּר לָבֶטַח וְיָשְׁנוּ בַּיְּעָרִים׃ |

| 26 |
καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς περικύκλῳ τοῦ ὄρους μου· καὶ δώσω τὸν ὑετὸν ὑμῖν, ὑετὸν εὐλογίας. |
And I will settle them round about my mountain; and I will give you the rain the rain of blessing. |

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. | וְנָתַתִּי אֹותָם וּסְבִיבֹות גִּבְעָתִי בְּרָכָה וְהֹורַדְתִּי הַגֶּשֶׁם בְּעִתֹּו גִּשְׁמֵי בְרָכָה יִהְיוּ׃ |

καὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν, καὶ ἡ γῆ δώσει τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτῆς, καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ἐν ἐλπίδι εἰρήνης, καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ συντρῖψαί με τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν καταδουλωσαμένων αὐτούς. |
And the trees that are in the field shall yield their fruit and the earth shall yield her strength and they shall dwell in the confidence of peace on their land and they shall know that I am the Lord when I have broken their yoke; and I will deliver them |

And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them. | וְנָתַן עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה אֶת־פִּרְיֹו וְהָאָרֶץ תִּתֵּן יְבוּלָהּ וְהָיוּ עַל־אַדְמָתָם לָבֶטַח וְיָדְעוּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה בְּשִׁבְרִי אֶת־מֹטֹות עֻלָּם וְהִצַּלְתִּים מִיַּד הָעֹבְדִים בָּהֶם׃ |

καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι ἐν προνομῇ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς οὐκέτι μὴ φάγωσιν αὐτούς· καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν ἐλπίδι, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐκφοβῶν αὐτούς. |
And they shall no more be a spoil to the nations and the wild beasts of the land shall no more at all devour them; and they shall dwell safely and there shall be none to make them afraid. |

They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them; they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid. | וְלֹא־יִהְיוּ עֹוד בַּז לַגֹּויִם וְחַיַּת הָאָרֶץ לֹא תֹאכְלֵם וְיָשְׁבוּ לָבֶטַח וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד׃ |

καὶ ἀναστήσω αὐτοῖς φυτὸν εἰρήνης, καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἀπολλύμενοι λιμῷ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐνέγκωσιν ἔτι ὀνειδισμὸν ἐθνῶν. |
And I will raise up for them a plant of peace and they shall no more perish with hunger upon the land and they shall no more bear the reproach off the nations. |
|
And I will provide for them prosperous plantations so that they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer suffer the reproach of the nations. | וַהֲקִמֹתִי לָהֶם מַטָּע לְשֵׁם וְלֹא־יִהְיוּ עֹוד אֲסֻפֵי רָעָב בָּאָרֶץ וְלֹא־יִשְׂאוּ עֹוד כְּלִמַּת הַגֹּויִם׃ |

καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν, καὶ αὐτοὶ λαός μου οἶκος Ισραηλ, λέγει κύριος. |
And they shall know that I am the Lord their God and they my people. O house of Israel saith the Lord God |

And they shall know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord GOD. | וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם אִתָּם וְהֵמָּה עַמִּי בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ |

πρόβατά μου καὶ πρόβατα ποιμνίου μού ἐστε, καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν, λέγει κύριος κύριος. |
ye are my sheep even the sheep of my flock and I am the Lord your God saith the Lord God. |

And you are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, says the Lord God." | וְאַתֵּן צֹאנִי צֹאן מַרְעִיתִי אָדָם אַתֶּם אֲנִי אֱלֹהֵיכֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃ ף |
