Καὶ ἐκάθισαν οἱ ἄρχοντες τοῦ λαοῦ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ, καὶ οἱ κατάλοιποι τοῦ λαοῦ ἐβάλοσαν κλήρους ἐνέγκαι ἕνα ἀπὸ τῶν δέκα καθίσαι ἐν Ιερουσαλημ πόλει τῇ ἁγίᾳ καὶ ἐννέα μέρη ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν. |
And the chiefs of the people dwelt in Jerusalem: and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one of [every] ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city and nine parts in the [other] cities. |

Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem; and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in Jerusalem the holy city, while nine tenths remained in the other towns. | וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָׂרֵי־הָעָם בִּירוּשָׁלִָם וּשְׁאָר הָעָם הִפִּילוּ גֹורָלֹות לְהָבִיא אֶחָד מִן־הָעֲשָׂרָה לָשֶׁבֶת בִּירוּשָׁלִַם עִיר הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְתֵשַׁע הַיָּדֹות בֶּעָרִים׃ |

καὶ εὐλόγησεν ὁ λαὸς τοὺς πάντας ἄνδρας τοὺς ἑκουσιαζομένους καθίσαι ἐν Ιερουσαλημ. |
And the people blessed all the men that volunteered to dwell in Jerusalem. |

Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς χώρας, οἳ ἐκάθισαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ· καὶ ἐν πόλεσιν Ιουδα ἐκάθισαν ἀνὴρ ἐν κατασχέσει αὐτοῦ ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν, Ισραηλ, οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ ναθιναῖοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ δούλων Σαλωμων· |
Now these [are] the chiefs of the province who dwelt in Jerusalem and in the cities of Juda; [every] man dwelt in his possession in their cities: Israel the priests and the Levites and the Nathinim |

These are the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem; but in the towns of Judah every one lived on his property in their towns: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the descendants of Solomon's servants. | וְאֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי הַמְּדִינָה אֲשֶׁר יָשְׁבוּ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם וּבְעָרֵי יְהוּדָה יָשְׁבוּ אִישׁ בַּאֲחֻזָּתֹו בְּעָרֵיהֶם יִשְׂרָאֵל הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְהַנְּתִינִים וּבְנֵי עַבְדֵי שְׁלֹמֹה׃ |

καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἐκάθισαν ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἀπὸ υἱῶν Βενιαμιν. - ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ιουδα· Αθαια υἱὸς Αζαια υἱὸς Ζαχαρια υἱὸς Αμαρια υἱὸς Σαφατια υἱὸς Μαλεληλ καὶ ἀπὸ υἱῶν Φαρες. |
And there dwelt in Jerusalem [some] of the children of Juda and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Juda; Athaia son of Azia the son of Zacharia the son of Samaria the son of Saphatia |

And in Jerusalem lived certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athai'ah the son of Uzzi'ah, son of Zechari'ah, son of Amari'ah, son of Shephati'ah, son of Mahal'alel, of the sons of Perez; | וּבִירוּשָׁלִַם יָשְׁבוּ מִבְּנֵי יְהוּדָה וּמִבְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן מִבְּנֵי יְהוּדָה עֲתָיָה בֶן־עֻזִּיָּה בֶּן־זְכַרְיָה בֶן־אֲמַרְיָה בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָה בֶן־מַהֲלַלְאֵל מִבְּנֵי־פָרֶץ׃ |

καὶ Μαασια υἱὸς Βαρουχ υἱὸς Χαλαζα υἱὸς Οζια υἱὸς Αδαια υἱὸς Ιωριβ υἱὸς Θηζια υἱὸς τοῦ Σηλωνι. |
and Maasia son of Baruch son of Chalaza son of Ozia son of Adaia son of Joarib |

and Ma-asei'ah the son of Baruch, son of Col-ho'zeh, son of Hazai'ah, son of Adai'ah, son of Joi'arib, son of Zechari'ah, son of the Shi'lonite. | וּמַעֲשֵׂיָה בֶן־בָּרוּךְ בֶּן־כָּל־חֹזֶה בֶּן־חֲזָיָה בֶן־עֲדָיָה בֶן־יֹויָרִיב בֶּן־זְכַרְיָה בֶּן־הַשִּׁלֹנִי׃ |

πάντες υἱοὶ Φαρες οἱ καθήμενοι ἐν Ιερουσαλημ τετρακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ὀκτὼ ἄνδρες δυνάμεως. - |
All the sons of Phares who dwelt in Jerusalem [were] four hundred and sixty-eight men of might. |

All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men. | כָּל־בְּנֵי־פֶרֶץ הַיֹּשְׁבִים בִּירוּשָׁלִָם אַרְבַּע מֵאֹות שִׁשִּׁים וּשְׁמֹנָה אַנְשֵׁי־חָיִל׃ ס |

καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν· Σηλω υἱὸς Μεσουλαμ υἱὸς Ιωαδ υἱὸς Φαδαια υἱὸς Κωλια υἱὸς Μασαια υἱὸς Αιθιηλ υἱὸς Ιεσια· |
And these [were] the children of Benjamin; Selo son of Mesulam son of Joad son of Phadaia son of Coleia son of Maasias |

And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshul'lam, son of Jo'ed, son of Pedai'ah, son of Kolai'ah, son of Ma-asei'ah, son of I'thi-el, son of Jeshai'ah. | וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן סַלֻּא בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־יֹועֵד בֶּן־פְּדָיָה בֶן־קֹולָיָה בֶן־מַעֲשֵׂיָה בֶּן־אִיתִיאֵל בֶּן־יְשַׁעְיָה׃ |

καὶ ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ Γηβι, Σηλι, ἐννακόσιοι εἴκοσι ὀκτώ. |
And after him Gebe Seli nine hundred and twenty-eight. |

And after him Gabba'i, Salla'i, nine hundred and twenty-eight. | וְאַחֲרָיו גַּבַּי סַלָּי תְּשַׁע מֵאֹות עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁמֹנָה׃ |

καὶ Ιωηλ υἱὸς Ζεχρι ἐπίσκοπος ἐπ' αὐτούς, καὶ Ιουδας υἱὸς Ασανα ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως δεύτερος. - |
And Joel son of Zechri [was] overseer over them: and Juda son of Asana was second in the city. |

Jo'el the son of Zichri was their overseer; and Judah the son of Hassen'u-ah was second over the city. | וְיֹואֵל בֶּן־זִכְרִי פָּקִיד עֲלֵיהֶם וִיהוּדָה בֶן־הַסְּנוּאָה עַל־הָעִיר מִשְׁנֶה׃ ף |

ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων· καὶ Ιαδια υἱὸς Ιωριβ, Ιαχιν, |
Of the priests: both Jadia son of Joarib and Jachin. |

Of the priests: Jedai'ah the son of Joi'arib, Jachin, | מִן־הַכֹּהֲנִים יְדַעְיָה בֶן־יֹויָרִיב יָכִין׃ |

Σαραια υἱὸς Ελκια υἱὸς Μεσουλαμ υἱὸς Σαδδουκ υἱὸς Μαριωθ υἱὸς Αιτωβ ἀπέναντι οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ. |

Serai'ah the son of Hilki'ah, son of Meshul'lam, son of Zadok, son of Merai'oth, son of Ahi'tub, ruler of the house of God, | שְׂרָיָה בֶן־חִלְקִיָּה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־צָדֹוק בֶּן־מְרָיֹות בֶּן־אֲחִיטוּב נְגִד בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |

καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ποιοῦντες τὸ ἔργον τοῦ οἴκου· Αμασι υἱὸς Ζαχαρια υἱὸς Φασσουρ υἱὸς Μελχια, |
And their brethren doing the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two: and Adaia son of Jeroam son of Phalalia son of Amasi son of Zacharia son of Phassur |

and their brethren who did the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two; and Adai'ah the son of Jero'ham, son of Pelali'ah, son of Amzi, son of Zechari'ah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchi'jah, | וַאֲחֵיהֶם עֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה לַבַּיִת שְׁמֹנֶה מֵאֹות עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁנָיִם וַעֲדָיָה בֶּן־יְרֹחָם בֶּן־פְּלַלְיָה בֶּן־אַמְצִי בֶן־זְכַרְיָה בֶּן־פַּשְׁחוּר בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּה׃ |

ἄρχοντες πατριῶν διακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα δύο. καὶ Αμεσσαι υἱὸς Εσδριηλ, |
and his brethren chiefs of families two hundred and forty-two: and Amasia son of Esdriel son of Mesarimith son of Emmer |

and his brethren, heads of fathers' houses, two hundred and forty-two; and Amash'sai, the son of Az'arel, son of Ah'zai, son of Meshil'lemoth, son of Immer, | וְאֶחָיו רָאשִׁים לְאָבֹות מָאתַיִם אַרְבָּעִים וּשְׁנָיִם וַעֲמַשְׁסַי בֶּן־עֲזַרְאֵל בֶּן־אַחְזַי בֶּן־מְשִׁלֵּמֹות בֶּן־אִמֵּר׃ |

καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δυνατοὶ παρατάξεως ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι ὀκτώ, καὶ ἐπίσκοπος ἐπ' αὐτῶν Βαδιηλ. - |
and his brethren mighty men of war a hundred and twenty-eight: and [their] overseer [was] Badiel son of [one of the] great men. |

and their brethren, mighty men of valor, a hundred and twenty-eight; their overseer was Zab'diel the son of Haggedo'lim. | וַאֲחֵיהֶם גִּבֹּורֵי חַיִל מֵאָה עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁמֹנָה וּפָקִיד עֲלֵיהֶם זַבְדִּיאֵל בֶּן־הַגְּדֹולִים׃ ס |

καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν Λευιτῶν Σαμαια υἱὸς Ασουβ υἱὸς Εζρι· |
And of the Levites; Samaia son of Esricam |

And of the Levites: Shemai'ah the son of Hasshub, son of Azri'kam, son of Hashabi'ah, son of Bunni; | וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּם שְׁמַעְיָה בֶן־חַשּׁוּב בֶּן־עַזְרִיקָם בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָה בֶּן־בּוּנִּי׃ |

καὶ Μαθανια υἱὸς Μιχα καὶ Ωβηδ υἱὸς Σαμουι, |
Matthanias son of Micha and Jobeb son of Samui |

and Mattani'ah the son of Mica, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, who was the leader to begin the thanksgiving in prayer, and Bakbuki'ah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Sham'mua, son of Galal, son of Jedu'thun. | וּמַתַּנְיָה בֶן־מִיכָה בֶּן־זַבְדִּי בֶן־אָסָף רֹאשׁ הַתְּחִלָּה יְהֹודֶה לַתְּפִלָּה וּבַקְבֻּקְיָה מִשְׁנֶה מֵאֶחָיו וְעַבְדָּא בֶּן־שַׁמּוּעַ בֶּן־גָּלָל בֶּן־[כ= יְדִיתוּן] [ק= יְדוּתוּן]׃ |

διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα τέσσαρες. |

καὶ οἱ πυλωροὶ Ακουβ, Τελαμιν, καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα δύο. 22 καὶ ἐπίσκοπος Λευιτῶν υἱὸς Βανι, Οζι υἱὸς Ασαβια υἱὸς Μιχα. ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ασαφ τῶν ᾀδόντων ἀπέναντι ἔργου οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ· 23 ὅτι ἐντολὴ τοῦ βασιλέως ἐπ' αὐτούς. 24 καὶ Παθαια υἱὸς Βασηζα πρὸς χεῖρα τοῦ βασιλέως εἰς πᾶν ῥῆμα τῷ λαῷ. - 25 καὶ πρὸς τὰς ἐπαύλεις ἐν ἀγρῷ αὐτῶν. καὶ ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ιουδα ἐκάθισαν ἐν Καριαθαρβοκ 26 καὶ ἐν Ιησου 27 καὶ ἐν Βεηρσαβεε, 30 καὶ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν, Λαχις καὶ ἀγροὶ αὐτῆς· καὶ παρενεβάλοσαν ἐν Βεηρσαβεε. 31 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν ἀπὸ Γαβα, Μαχαμας. 36 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν Λευιτῶν μερίδες Ιουδα τῷ Βενιαμιν. |
And the porters; Acub Telamin and their brethren a hundred and seventy-two. |

The gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon and their brethren, who kept watch at the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two. | וְהַשֹּׁועֲרִים עַקּוּב טַלְמֹון וַאֲחֵיהֶם הַשֹּׁמְרִים בַּשְּׁעָרִים מֵאָה שִׁבְעִים וּשְׁנָיִם׃ |

καὶ ἐπίσκοπος Λευιτῶν υἱὸς Βανι, Οζι υἱὸς Ασαβια υἱὸς Μιχα. ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ασαφ τῶν ᾀδόντων ἀπέναντι ἔργου οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ· |
And the overseer of the Levites [was] the son of Bani son of Ozi son of Asabia the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph the singers [some were] over the house of God |

The overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, son of Hashabi'ah, son of Mattani'ah, son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the work of the house of God. | וּפְקִיד הַלְוִיִּם בִּירוּשָׁלִַם עֻזִּי בֶן־בָּנִי בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָה בֶּן־מַתַּנְיָה בֶּן־מִיכָא מִבְּנֵי אָסָף הַמְשֹׁרְרִים לְנֶגֶד מְלֶאכֶת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |

ὅτι ἐντολὴ τοῦ βασιλέως ἐπ' αὐτούς. |
For so was the king's commandment concerning them. |

For there was a command from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required. | כִּי־מִצְוַת הַמֶּלֶךְ עֲלֵיהֶם וַאֲמָנָה עַל־הַמְשֹׁרְרִים דְּבַר־יֹום בְּיֹומֹו׃ |

καὶ Παθαια υἱὸς Βασηζα πρὸς χεῖρα τοῦ βασιλέως εἰς πᾶν ῥῆμα τῷ λαῷ. - |
And Phathaia son of Baseza was in attendance on the king in every matter for the people |

And Pethahi'ah the son of Meshez'abel, of the sons of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people. | וּפְתַחְיָה בֶּן־מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵל מִבְּנֵי־זֶרַח בֶּן־יְהוּדָה לְיַד הַמֶּלֶךְ לְכָל־דָּבָר לָעָם׃ |

καὶ πρὸς τὰς ἐπαύλεις ἐν ἀγρῷ αὐτῶν. καὶ ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ιουδα ἐκάθισαν ἐν Καριαθαρβοκ |
and with regard to villages in their country district: and [some] of the children of Juda dwelt in Cariatharboc |

And as for the villages, with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kir'iath-ar'ba and its villages, and in Dibon and its villages, and in Jekab'zeel and its villages, | וְאֶל־הַחֲצֵרִים בִּשְׂדֹתָם מִבְּנֵי יְהוּדָה יָשְׁבוּ בְּקִרְיַת הָאַרְבַּע וּבְנֹתֶיהָ וּבְדִיבֹן וּבְנֹתֶיהָ וּבִיקַּבְצְאֵל וַחֲצֵרֶיהָ׃ |

καὶ ἐν Βεηρσαβεε, 30 καὶ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν, Λαχις καὶ ἀγροὶ αὐτῆς· καὶ παρενεβάλοσαν ἐν Βεηρσαβεε. 31 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν ἀπὸ Γαβα, Μαχαμας. 36 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν Λευιτῶν μερίδες Ιουδα τῷ Βενιαμιν. |
and in Bersabee: |

in Ha'zar-shu'al, in Beer-sheba and its villages, | וּבַחֲצַר שׁוּעָל וּבִבְאֵר שֶׁבַע וּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃ |

καὶ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν, Λαχις καὶ ἀγροὶ αὐτῆς· καὶ παρενεβάλοσαν ἐν Βεηρσαβεε. |
And their villages [were] Lachis and her hands: and they pitched their tents in Bersabee. |

Zano'ah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, and Aze'kah and its villages. So they encamped from Beer-sheba to the valley of Hinnom. | זָנֹחַ עֲדֻלָּם וְחַצְרֵיהֶם לָכִישׁ וּשְׂדֹתֶיהָ עֲזֵקָה וּבְנֹתֶיהָ וַיַּחֲנוּ מִבְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע עַד־גֵּיא־הִנֹּם׃ |

καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν ἀπὸ Γαβα, Μαχαμας. 36 καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν Λευιτῶν μερίδες Ιουδα τῷ Βενιαμιν. |
And the children of Benjamin [dwelt] from Gabaa [to] Machmas. |

The people of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash, Ai'ja, Bethel and its villages, | וּבְנֵי בִנְיָמִן מִגָּבַע מִכְמָשׂ וְעַיָּה וּבֵית־אֵל וּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃ |

καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν Λευιτῶν μερίδες Ιουδα τῷ Βενιαμιν. |
And of the Levites there were divisions to Juda [and] to Benjamin. |
|
And certain divisions of the Levites in Judah were joined to Benjamin. | וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּם מַחְלְקֹות יְהוּדָה לְבִנְיָמִין׃ ף |
