1Δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις θεῷ

2καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς εἰρήνη,
and on earth peace, 
3ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκία.
good will to man. 
4αἰνοῦμέν σε,
We praise you, 
5εὐλογοῦμέν σε,
we bless you, 
6προσκυνοῦμέν σε,
we worship you, 
7δοξολογοῦμέν σε,
we glorify you, 
8εὐχαριστοῦμέν σοι
and we thank you, 
9διὰ τὴν μεγάλην σου δόξαν,
for your great glory. 
10κύριε βασιλεῦ,
Lord, King, 
11ἐπουράνιε,
Heavenly God, 
12θεὲ πατὴρ παντοκράτωρ,
Father Almighty; 
13κύριε υἱὲ μονογενὴ
only begotten Son, Lord 
14Ἰησοῦ Χριστὲ
Jesus Christ 
16κύριε ὁ θεός,
Lord God, 
17ὁ ἀμνὸς τοῦ θεοῦ,
the Lamb of God, 
18ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ πατρός,
the Son of the Father 
19ὁ αἴρων τὰς ἁμαρτίας τοῦ κόσμου,
who take away the sin of the world, 
20ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς·
have mercy on us, 
21ὁ αἴρων τὰς ἁμαρτίας τοῦ κόσμου,
who take away the sins of the world. 
22πρόσδεξαι τὴν δέησιν ἡμῶν·
Accept our supplication, 
23ὁ καθήμενος ἐν δεξιᾷ τοῦ πατρός,
you who sit at the right of the Father, 
24ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς.
have mercy on us. 
25ὅτι σὺ εἶ μόνος ἅγιος,
For you are the only Holy One, 
26σὺ εἶ μόνος κύριος,
you are the only Lord, 
27Ἰησοῦς Χριστός,
Jesus Christ, 
28εἰς δόξαν θεοῦ πατρός. αμην.
to the glory of God the Father. Amen. 
29καθ' ἑκάστην ἡμέραν εὐλογήσω σε
Every evening I shall bless you, 
30καὶ αἰνέσω τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
and I shall praise your name forever, 
31καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.
and unto the centuries of centuries. 
32καταξίωσον, κύριε, καὶ τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην
Grant, O Lord, that in this night 
33ἀναμαρτήτους φυλαχθῆναι ἡμᾶς.
we may be kept without sin. 
34εὐλογητὸς εἶ, κύριε ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν,
Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our Fathers, 
35καὶ αἰνετὸν καὶ δεδοξασμένον τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. αμην.
and praised and glorified is your name unto the ages. Amen. 
36εὐλογητὸς εἶ, κύριε, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου·
Blessed are you, O Lord, teach me your rules of life. 
37εὐλογητὸς εἶ, κύριε, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου·
Blessed are you, O Lord, teach me your rules of life. 
38εὐλογητὸς εἶ, κύριε, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.
Blessed are you, O Lord, teach me your rules of life. 
39κύριε, καταφυγὴ ἐγενήθης ἡμῖν ἐν γενεᾷ καὶ γενεᾷ.
Lord, you have become for us a refuge from generation to generation. 
40ἐγὼ εἶπα Κύριε, ἐλέησόν με,
I have said: Lord, have mercy on me, 
41ἴασαι τὴν ψυχήν μου, ὅτι ἥμαρτόν σοι.
heal my soul for I have sinned against you. 
42κύριε, πρὸς σὲ κατέφυγα·
Lord, to you I have fled; 
43δίδαξόν με τοῦ ποιεῖν τὸ θέλημά σου, ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ θεός μου·
teach me to do your will for you are my God. 
44ὅτι παρὰ σοὶ πηγὴ ζωῆς,
For with you is the fountain of life;. 
45ἐν τῷ φωτί σου ὀψόμεθα φῶς·
in your light we shall see light.
