1Μνήσθητι, κύριε, ὅ τι ἐγενήθη ἡμῖν·
ἐπίβλεψον καὶ ἰδὲ τὸν ὀνειδισμὸν ἡμῶν.		 Remember, O Lord, what has happened to us:
behold, and look on our reproach.		A prayer of mercy. Lm.5.1-22
2κληρονομία ἡμῶν μετεστράφη ἀλλοτρίοις,
οἱ οἶκοι ἡμῶν ξένοις.		 Our inheritance has been turned away to aliens,
our houses to strangers:		 
3ὀρφανοὶ ἐγενήθημεν, οὐχ ὑπάρχει πατήρ·
μητέρες ἡμῶν ὡς αἱ χῆραι.		 we are become orphans, we have no father,
our mothers are as widows.		 
4ἐξ ἡμερῶν ἡμῶν ξύλα ἡμῶν ἐν ἀλλάγματι ἦλθεν. We have drunk our water for money; our wood is sold to us [for a burden] on our neck: 
5ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον ἡμῶν ἐδιώχθημεν·
ἐκοπιάσαμεν, οὐκ ἀνεπαύθημεν.		 we have been persecuted,
we have laboured, we have had no rest.		 
6Αἴγυπτος ἔδωκεν χεῖρα,
Ασσουρ εἰς πλησμονὴν αὐτῶν.		 Egypt gave the hand [to us],
Assur to their own satisfaction.		 
7οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν ἥμαρτον, οὐχ ὑπάρχουσιν·
ἡμεῖς τὰ ἀνομήματα αὐτῶν ὑπέσχομεν.		 Our fathers sinned, [and] are not:
we have bore their iniquities.		 
8δοῦλοι ἐκυρίευσαν ἡμῶν,
λυτρούμενος οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῶν.		 Servants have ruled over us:
there is none to ransom [us] out of their hand.		 
9ἐν ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν εἰσοίσομεν ἄρτον ἡμῶν ἀπὸ προσώπου ῥομφαίας τῆς ἐρήμου. We shall bring in our bread with [danger of] our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness. 
10τὸ δέρμα ἡμῶν ὡς κλίβανος ἐπελειώθη,
συνεσπάσθησαν ἀπὸ προσώπου καταιγίδων λιμοῦ.		 Our skin is blackened like an oven;
they are convulsed, because of the storms of famine.		 
11γυναῖκας ἐν Σιων ἐταπείνωσαν,
παρθένους ἐν πόλεσιν Ιουδα.		 They humbled the women in Sion,
the virgins in the cities of Juda.		 
12ἄρχοντες ἐν χερσὶν αὐτῶν ἐκρεμάσθησαν,
πρεσβύτεροι οὐκ ἐδοξάσθησαν.		 Princes were hanged up by their hands:
the elders were not honoured.		 
13ἐκλεκτοὶ κλαυθμὸν ἀνέλαβον,
καὶ νεανίσκοι ἐν ξύλῳ ἠσθένησαν.		 The chosen men lifted up [the voice in] weeping,
and the youths fainted under the wood.		 
14καὶ πρεσβῦται ἀπὸ πύλης κατέπαυσαν,
ἐκλεκτοὶ ἐκ ψαλμῶν αὐτῶν κατέπαυσαν.		 And the elders ceased from the gate,
the chosen men ceased from their music.		 
15κατέλυσεν χαρὰ καρδίας ἡμῶν,
ἐστράφη εἰς πένθος ὁ χορὸς ἡμῶν.		 The joy of our heart has ceased;
our dance is turned into mourning.		 
16ἔπεσεν ὁ στέφανος τῆς κεφαλῆς ἡμῶν·
οὐαὶ δὴ ἡμῖν, ὅτι ἡμάρτομεν.		 The crown has fallen [from] our head:
yea, woe to us! for we have sinned.		 
17περὶ τούτου ἐγενήθη ὀδυνηρὰ ἡ καρδία ἡμῶν,
περὶ τούτου ἐσκότασαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν·		 For this has grief come; our heart is sorrowful:
for this our eyes are darkened.		 
18ἐπ' ὄρος Σιων, ὅτι ἠφανίσθη,
ἀλώπεκες διῆλθον ἐν αὐτῇ.		 Over the mountain of Sion, because it is made desolate,
foxes have walked therein.		 
19σὺ δέ, Κύριε, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα κατοικήσεις,
ὁ θρόνος σου εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν.		 But thou, O Lord, shalt dwell for ever;
thy throne [shall endure] to generation and generation.		 
20ἵνα τί εἰς νεῖκος ἐπιλήσῃ ἡμῶν,
καταλείψεις ἡμᾶς εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερῶν;		 Wherefore wilt thou utterly forget us,
and abandon us a long time?		 
21ἐπίστρεψον ἡμᾶς, κύριε, πρὸς σέ, καὶ ἐπιστραφησόμεθα·
καὶ ἀνακαίνισον ἡμέρας ἡμῶν καθὼς ἔμπροσθεν.		 Turn us, O Lord, to thee, and we shall be turned;
and renew our days as before.		 
22ὅτι ἀπωθούμενος ἀπώσω ἡμᾶς,
ὠργίσθης ἐφ' ἡμᾶς ἕως σφόδρα.		 For thou hast indeed rejected us;
thou hast been very wroth against us.

The Old Testament in Greek is Rahlf's LXX available in Word format at the Tyndale website, adapted to database format.
The alternative readings of the LXX - Judges (Alexandrinus), Daniel, Susanna & Bel (LXX received text), and Tobit (Sinaiticus [not printed in Swete]) as separate book references so that they can be viewed as an alternative text in parallel with the primary text.
(I have reversed the Swete presentation for Daniel, Susanna, Bel by listing in the later Theodotion LXX text as the main text. )
The LXX cross references to the Hebrew Bible have been extensively revised using those set out in Swete's 'Old Testament in Greek' publications between 1894 and 1909, amended in part to agree with verses as printed in the Biblia Hebraica (1937 publication).
Some verse cross references in Swete's had to be amended to agree with the BHS verse numbering, and there may well be some mismatches that I haven't yet picked up on. (If you find any errors please e-mail me.)

The Septuagint in English ( translated by Sir Lancelot CL Brenton) - is used here only for the books of the Hebrew Bible.
The Revised Standard Version: This generally follows the Hebrew Bible for the canonical OT so I have included the RSV Aprocrypha for the Greek books not covered by Brenton.
Ecclesiasticus - Sirach Chs.30-36: The text of these chapters from 30.24 to 36.16, is disordered.
I have followed Swete's verse numbering for the greek text.
Also, the RSV verse numbering differs from the NRSV.
The NRSV appears to have followed Swete's numbering here, so I have re-ordered the RSV to agree with both the NRSV & Swete for these chapters.
