1Ἀπόστειλον τὸν ἄρτον σου ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τοῦ ὕδατος,
ὅτι ἐν πλήθει τῶν ἡμερῶν εὑρήσεις αὐτόν·
 Send forth thy bread upon the face of the water:
for thou shalt find it after many days.		What a wise man does. Ec.11.1-8
2δὸς μερίδα τοῖς ἑπτὰ καί γε τοῖς ὀκτώ,
ὅτι οὐ γινώσκεις τί ἔσται πονηρὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν.
 Give a portion to seven, and also to eight;
for thou knowest not what evil there shall be upon the earth.		 
3ἐὰν πληρωθῶσιν τὰ νέφη ὑετοῦ, ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐκχέουσιν·
καὶ ἐὰν πέσῃ ξύλον ἐν τῷ νότῳ καὶ ἐὰν ἐν τῷ βορρᾷ, τόπῳ, οὗ πεσεῖται τὸ ξύλον,
ἐκεῖ ἔσται.
 If the clouds be filled with rain,
they pour [it] out upon the earth:
and if a tree fall southward, or if it fall northward, in the place where the tree shall fall,
there it shall be.		 
4τηρῶν ἄνεμον οὐ σπερεῖ,
καὶ βλέπων ἐν ταῖς νεφέλαις οὐ θερίσει,
 He that observes the wind sows not;
and he that looks at the clouds will not reap.		 
5ἐν οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν γινώσκων τίς ἡ ὁδὸς τοῦ πνεύματος.
ὡς ὀστᾶ ἐν γαστρὶ τῆς κυοφορούσης,
οὕτως οὐ γνώσῃ τὰ ποιήματα τοῦ θεοῦ,
ὅσα ποιήσει σὺν τὰ πάντα.
 Among whom none knows what is the way of the wind:
as the bones [are hid] in the womb of a pregnant [woman],
so thou shalt not know the works of God,
[even] all things whatsoever he shall do.		 
6ἐν πρωίᾳ σπεῖρον τὸ σπέρμα σου, καὶ εἰς ἑσπέραν μὴ ἀφέτω ἡ χείρ σου,
ὅτι οὐ γινώσκεις ποῖον στοιχήσει,
ἢ τοῦτο ἢ τοῦτο,
καὶ ἐὰν τὰ δύο ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἀγαθά.
 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening let not thine hand be slack:
for thou knowest not what sort shall prosper
whether this or that,
or whether both shall be good alike.		 
7καὶ γλυκὺ τὸ φῶς καὶ ἀγαθὸν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς τοῦ βλέπειν σὺν τὸν ἥλιον·
 Moreover the light is sweet, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun. 
8ὅτι καὶ ἐὰν ἔτη πολλὰ ζήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος,
ἐν πᾶσιν αὐτοῖς εὐφρανθήσεται καὶ μνησθήσεται τὰς ἡμέρας τοῦ σκότους,
ὅτι πολλαὶ ἔσονται·
πᾶν τὸ ἐρχόμενον ματαιότης.
 For even if a man should live many years, [and] rejoice in them all;
yet let him remember the days of darkness;
for they shall be many.
All that comes is vanity.		 
9Εὐφραίνου, νεανίσκε, ἐν νεότητί σου,
καὶ ἀγαθυνάτω σε ἡ καρδία σου ἐν ἡμέραις νεότητός σου, καὶ περιπάτει ἐν ὁδοῖς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐν ὁράσει ὀφθαλμῶν σου
καὶ γνῶθι ὅτι ἐπὶ πᾶσι τούτοις ἄξει σε ὁ θεὸς ἐν κρίσει.
 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth;
and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thy heart blameless, but not in the sight of thine eyes:
yet know that for all these things God will bring thee into judgement.		Advice to young people. Ec.11.9-12.8
10καὶ ἀπόστησον θυμὸν ἀπὸ καρδίας σου
καὶ παράγαγε πονηρίαν ἀπὸ σαρκός σου,
ὅτι ἡ νεότης καὶ ἡ ἄνοια ματαιότης.
 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart,
and put away evil from thy flesh:
for youth and folly are vanity.

Notes:

The Old Testament in Greek is Rahlf's LXX available in Word format at the Tyndale website, adapted to database format.
The alternative readings of the LXX - Judges (Alexandrinus), Daniel, Susanna & Bel (LXX received text), and Tobit (Sinaiticus [not printed in Swete]) as separate book references so that they can be viewed as an alternative text in parallel with the primary text.
(I have reversed the Swete presentation for Daniel, Susanna, Bel by listing in the later Theodotion LXX text as the main text. )
The LXX cross references to the Hebrew Bible have been extensively revised using those set out in Swete's 'Old Testament in Greek' publications between 1894 and 1909, amended in part to agree with verses as printed in the Biblia Hebraica (1937 publication).
Some verse cross references in Swete's had to be amended to agree with the BHS verse numbering, and there may well be some mismatches that I haven't yet picked up on. (If you find any errors please e-mail me.)
Hebrew Bible has been adapted from the BHS in Word format at Tyndale.
The Septuagint in English ( translated by Sir Lancelot CL Brenton) - is used here only for the books of the Hebrew Bible.
The Revised Standard Version: This generally follows the Hebrew Bible for the canonical OT so I have included the RSV Aprocrypha for the Greek books not covered by Brenton.
Ecclesiasticus - Sirach Chs.30-36: The text of these chapters from 30.24 to 36.16, is disordered.
I have followed Swete's verse numbering for the greek text.
Also, the RSV verse numbering differs from the NRSV.
The NRSV appears to have followed Swete's numbering here, so I have re-ordered the RSV to agree with both the NRSV & Swete for these chapters.
