1Καὶ ἐγένετο ἡνίκα ᾠκοδομήθη τὸ τεῖχος, καὶ ἔστησα τὰς θύρας, καὶ ἐπεσκέπησαν οἱ πυλωροὶ καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες καὶ οἱ Λευῖται. And it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed, 
2καὶ ἐνετειλάμην τῷ Ανανια ἀδελφῷ μου καὶ τῷ Ανανια ἄρχοντι τῆς βιρα ἐν Ιερουσαλημ, ὅτι αὐτὸς ὡς ἀνὴρ ἀληθὴς καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν παρὰ πολλούς, that I gave charge to Ananias my brother, and Ananias the ruler of the palace, over Jerusalem: for he was a true man, and one that feared God beyond many. 
3καὶ εἶπα αὐτοῖς Οὐκ ἀνοιγήσονται πύλαι Ιερουσαλημ ἕως ἅμα τῷ ἡλίῳ, καὶ ἔτι αὐτῶν γρηγορούντων κλειέσθωσαν αἱ θύραι καὶ σφηνούσθωσαν· καὶ στῆσον προφύλακας οἰκούντων ἐν Ιερουσαλημ, ἀνὴρ ἐν προφυλακῇ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀνὴρ ἀπέναντι οἰκίας αὐτοῦ. And I said to them, The gates of Jerusalem shall not be opened till sunrise; and while they are still watching, let the doors be shut, and bolted; and set watches of them that dwell in Jerusalem, [every] man at his post, and [every] man over against his house. 
4Καὶ ἡ πόλις πλατεῖα καὶ μεγάλη, καὶ ὁ λαὸς ὀλίγος ἐν αὐτῇ, καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν οἰκίαι ᾠκοδομημέναι. Now the city [was] wide and large; and the people [were] few in it, and the houses were not built.Census - Those who returned from exile. Ne.7.4-73 | Ez.2.1-70 
5καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὴν καρδίαν μου καὶ συνῆξα τοὺς ἐντίμους καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ τὸν λαὸν εἰς συνοδίας· καὶ εὗρον βιβλίον τῆς συνοδίας, οἳ ἀνέβησαν ἐν πρώτοις, καὶ εὗρον γεγραμμένον ἐν αὐτῷ And God put [it] into my heart, and I gathered the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, into companies: and I found a register of the company that came up first, and I found written in it as follows: 
6Καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῆς χώρας οἱ ἀναβάντες ἀπὸ αἰχμαλωσίας τῆς ἀποικίας, ἧς ἀπῴκισεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ εἰς Ιουδα ἀνὴρ εἰς τὴν πόλιν αὐτοῦ Now these [are] the children of the country, that came up from captivity, of the number which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon carried away, and they returned to Jerusalem and to Juda, [every] man to his city; 
7μετὰ Ζοροβαβελ καὶ Ἰησοῦ καὶ Νεεμια, Αζαρια, Δαεμια, Ναεμανι, Μαρδοχαιος, Βαλσαν, Μασφαραθ, Εσδρα, Βαγοι, Ναουμ, Βαανα, Μασφαρ. ἄνδρες λαοῦ Ισραηλ· with Zorobabel, and Jesus, and Neemia, Azaria, and Reelma, Naemani, Mardochaeus, Balsan, Maspharath, Esdra, Boguia, Inaum, Baana, Masphar, men of the people of Israel. 
8υἱοὶ Φορος δισχίλιοι ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα δύο. The children of Phoros, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two. 
9υἱοὶ Σαφατια τριακόσιοι ἑβδομήκοντα δύο. The children of Saphatia, three hundred and seventy-two. 
10υἱοὶ Ηρα ἑξακόσιοι πεντήκοντα δύο. The children of Era, six hundred and fifty-two. 
11υἱοὶ Φααθμωαβ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰησοῦ καὶ Ιωαβ δισχίλιοι ὀκτακόσιοι δέκα ὀκτώ. The children of Phaath Moab, with the children of Jesus and Joab, two thousand six hundred and eighteen. 
12υἱοὶ Αιλαμ χίλιοι διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα τέσσαρες. The children of Aelam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four. 
13υἱοὶ Ζαθουα ὀκτακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε. The children of Zathuia, eight hundred and forty-five. 
14υἱοὶ Ζακχου ἑπτακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα. The children of Zacchu, seven hundred and sixty. 
15υἱοὶ Βανουι ἑξακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα ὀκτώ. The children of Banui, six hundred and forty-eight.

18υἱοὶ Αδενικαμ ἑξακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἑπτά. The children of Adonicam, six hundred and sixty-seven. 
19υἱοὶ Βαγοι δισχίλιοι ἑξήκοντα ἑπτά. The children of Bagoi, two thousand and sixty-seven. 
20υἱοὶ Ηδιν ἑξακόσιοι πεντήκοντα πέντε. The children of Edin, six hundred and fifty-five. 
21υἱοὶ Ατηρ τῷ Εζεκια ἐνενήκοντα ὀκτώ. The children of Ater, [the son] of Ezekias, ninety-eight. 
22υἱοὶ Ησαμ τριακόσιοι εἴκοσι ὀκτώ. The children of Esam, three hundred and twenty-eight. 
23υἱοὶ Βεσι τριακόσιοι εἴκοσι τέσσαρες. The children of Besei, three hundred and twenty-four. 
24υἱοὶ Αριφ ἑκατὸν δώδεκα. The children of Ariph, a hundred and twelve: the children of Asen, two hundred and twenty-three. 
25υἱοὶ Γαβαων ἐνενήκοντα πέντε. The children of Gabaon, ninety-five. 
26υἱοὶ Βαιθλεεμ ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι τρεῖς. υἱοὶ Νετωφα πεντήκοντα ἕξ. The children of Baethalem, a hundred and twenty-three: the children of Atopha, fifty-six. 
27υἱοὶ Αναθωθ ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι ὀκτώ. The children of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight. 
28ἄνδρες Βηθασμωθ τεσσαράκοντα δύο. The men of Bethasmoth, forty-two. 
29ἄνδρες Καριαθιαριμ, Καφιρα καὶ Βηρωθ ἑπτακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα τρεῖς. The men of Cariatharim, Caphira, and Beroth, seven hundred and forty-three. 
30ἄνδρες Αραμα καὶ Γαβαα ἑξακόσιοι εἴκοσι εἷς. The men of Arama and Gabaa, six hundred and twenty. 
31ἄνδρες Μαχεμας ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι δύο. The men of Machemas, a hundred and twenty-two. 
32ἄνδρες Βηθηλ καὶ Αια ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι τρεῖς. The men of Baethel and Ai, a hundred and twenty-three. 
33ἄνδρες Ναβι - ααρ πεντήκοντα δύο. The men of Nabia, a hundred an fifty-two. 
34ἄνδρες Ηλαμ - ααρ χίλιοι διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα τέσσαρες. The men of Elamaar,one thousand two hundred and fifty-two. 
35υἱοὶ Ηραμ τριακόσιοι εἴκοσι. The children of Eram, three hundred and twenty. 
36υἱοὶ Ιεριχω τριακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε. The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five. 
37υἱοὶ Λοδ, Αδιδ καὶ Ωνω ἑπτακόσιοι εἴκοσι εἷς. The children of Lodadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-one. 
38υἱοὶ Σαναα τρισχίλιοι ἐννακόσιοι τριάκοντα. - The children of Sanana, three thousand nine hundred and thirty. 
39οἱ ἱερεῖς· υἱοὶ Ιωδαε εἰς οἶκον Ἰησοῦ ἐννακόσιοι ἑβδομήκοντα τρεῖς. The priests; the sons of Jodae, [pertaining] to the house of Jesus, nine hundred and seventy-three. 
40υἱοὶ Εμμηρ χίλιοι πεντήκοντα δύο. The children of Emmer, one thousand and fifty-two. 
41υἱοὶ Φασσουρ χίλιοι διακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα ἑπτά. The children of Phaseur, one thousand two hundred and forty-seven. 
42υἱοὶ Ηραμ χίλιοι δέκα ἑπτά. - The children of Eram, a thousand and seventeen. 
43οἱ Λευῖται· υἱοὶ Ἰησοῦ τῷ Καδμιηλ τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ Ουδουια ἑβδομήκοντα τέσσαρες. The Levites;
the children of Jesus the son of Cadmiel, with the children of Uduia, seventy-four.		 
44οἱ ᾄδοντες· υἱοὶ Ασαφ ἑκατὸν τεσσαράκοντα ὀκτώ. The singers;
the children of Asaph, a hundred and forty-eight.		 
45οἱ πυλωροί· υἱοὶ Σαλουμ, υἱοὶ Ατηρ, υἱοὶ Τελμων, υἱοὶ Ακουβ, υἱοὶ Ατιτα, υἱοὶ Σαβι, ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ὀκτώ. - The porters;
the children of Salum, the children of Ater, the children of Telmon, the children of Acub, the children of Atita, the children of Sabi, a hundred and thirty-eight.		 
46οἱ ναθινιμ· υἱοὶ Σηα, υἱοὶ Ασιφα, υἱοὶ Ταβαωθ, The Nathinim;
the children of Sea, the children of Aspha, the children of Tabaoth,		 
47υἱοὶ Κιρας, υἱοὶ Σουια, υἱοὶ Φαδων, the children of Kiras, the children of Asuia, the children of Phadon, 
48υἱοὶ Λαβανα, υἱοὶ Αγαβα, υἱοὶ Σαλαμι, the children of Labana, the children of Agaba, the children of Selmei, 
49υἱοὶ Αναν, υἱοὶ Γαδηλ, υἱοὶ Γααρ, the children of Anan, the children of Gadel, the children of Gaar,

58υἱοὶ Ιεαλη, υἱοὶ Δορκων, υἱοὶ Γαδηλ, the children of Jelel, the children of Dorcon, the children of Gadael, 
59υἱοὶ Σαφατια, υἱοὶ Ετηλ, υἱοὶ Φαχαραθ, υἱοὶ Σαβαιμ, υἱοὶ Ημιμ. the children of Saphatia, the children of Ettel, the children of Phacarath, the children of Sabaim the children of Emim. 
60πάντες οἱ ναθινιμ καὶ υἱοὶ δούλων Σαλωμων τριακόσιοι ἐνενήκοντα δύο. - All the Nathinim, and children of the servants of Solomon, [were] three hundred and ninety-two. 
61καὶ οὗτοι ἀνέβησαν ἀπὸ Θελμελεθ, Αρησα, Χαρουβ, Ηρων, Ιεμηρ καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν ἀπαγγεῖλαι οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν καὶ σπέρμα αὐτῶν εἰ ἀπὸ Ισραηλ εἰσίν· And these went up from Thelmeleth, Thelaresa, Charub, Eron, Jemer: but they could not declare the houses of their families, or their seed, whether they were of Israel. 
62υἱοὶ Δαλαια, υἱοὶ Τωβια, υἱοὶ Νεκωδα, ἑξακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα δύο. The children of Dalaia, the children of Tobia, the children of Necoda, six hundred and forty-two. 
63καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων· υἱοὶ Εβια, υἱοὶ Ακως, υἱοὶ Βερζελλι, ὅτι ἔλαβεν ἀπὸ θυγατέρων Βερζελλι τοῦ Γαλααδίτου γυναῖκας καὶ ἐκλήθη ἐπ' ὀνόματι αὐτῶν· And of the priests; the children of Ebia, the children of Acos, the children of Berzelli, for they took wives of the daughters of Berzelli the Galaadite, and they were called by their name. 
64οὗτοι ἐζήτησαν γραφὴν αὐτῶν τῆς συνοδίας, καὶ οὐχ εὑρέθη, καὶ ἠγχιστεύθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς ἱερατείας, These sought the pedigree of their company, and it was not found, and they were removed [as polluted] from the priesthood. 
65καὶ εἶπεν Αθερσαθα ἵνα μὴ φάγωσιν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἁγίου τῶν ἁγίων, ἕως ἀναστῇ ὁ ἱερεὺς φωτίσων. - And the Athersastha said, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should stand up to give light. 
66καὶ ἐγένετο πᾶσα ἡ ἐκκλησία ὡς εἷς, τέσσαρες μυριάδες δισχίλιοι τριακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα And all the congregation was about forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty, 
67πάρεξ δούλων αὐτῶν καὶ παιδισκῶν αὐτῶν, οὗτοι ἑπτακισχίλιοι τριακόσιοι τριάκοντα ἑπτά· καὶ ᾄδοντες καὶ ᾄδουσαι διακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε· besides their men-servants and their maid-servants: these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven: and the singing-men and singing-women, two hundred and forty-five. 
69κάμηλοι τετρακόσιοι τριάκοντα πέντε, ὄνοι ἑξακισχίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι εἴκοσι. - Two thousand seven hundred asses. 
70καὶ ἀπὸ μέρους ἀρχηγῶν τῶν πατριῶν ἔδωκαν εἰς τὸ ἔργον τῷ Νεεμια εἰς θησαυρὸν χρυσοῦς χιλίους, φιάλας πεντήκοντα καὶ χοθωνωθ τῶν ἱερέων τριάκοντα. And part of the heads of families gave into the treasury to Neemias for the work a thousand pieces of gold, fifty bowls, and thirty priests' [garments]. 
71καὶ ἀπὸ ἀρχηγῶν τῶν πατριῶν ἔδωκαν εἰς θησαυρὸν τοῦ ἔργου χρυσίου δύο μυριάδας καὶ ἀργυρίου μνᾶς δισχιλίας διακοσίας, And [some] of the heads of families gave into the treasuries of the work, twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand three hundred pounds of silver. 
72καὶ ἔδωκαν οἱ κατάλοιποι τοῦ λαοῦ χρυσίου δύο μυριάδας καὶ ἀργυρίου μνᾶς δισχιλίας διακοσίας καὶ χοθωνωθ τῶν ἱερέων ἑξήκοντα ἑπτά. - And the rest of the people gave twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests' [garments]. 
73καὶ ἐκάθισαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ πυλωροὶ καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ οἱ ναθινιμ καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν. Καὶ ἔφθασεν ὁ μὴν ὁ ἕβδομος - καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν - And the priests, and Levites, and porters, and singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nathinim, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities.

Notes:

The Old Testament in Greek is Rahlf's LXX available in Word format at the Tyndale website, adapted to database format.
The alternative readings of the LXX - Judges (Alexandrinus), Daniel, Susanna & Bel (LXX received text), and Tobit (Sinaiticus [not printed in Swete]) as separate book references so that they can be viewed as an alternative text in parallel with the primary text.
(I have reversed the Swete presentation for Daniel, Susanna, Bel by listing in the later Theodotion LXX text as the main text. )
The LXX cross references to the Hebrew Bible have been extensively revised using those set out in Swete's 'Old Testament in Greek' publications between 1894 and 1909, amended in part to agree with verses as printed in the Biblia Hebraica (1937 publication).
Some verse cross references in Swete's had to be amended to agree with the BHS verse numbering, and there may well be some mismatches that I haven't yet picked up on. (If you find any errors please e-mail me.)

The Septuagint in English ( translated by Sir Lancelot CL Brenton) - is used here only for the books of the Hebrew Bible.
The Revised Standard Version: This generally follows the Hebrew Bible for the canonical OT so I have included the RSV Aprocrypha for the Greek books not covered by Brenton.
Ecclesiasticus - Sirach Chs.30-36: The text of these chapters from 30.24 to 36.16, is disordered.
I have followed Swete's verse numbering for the greek text.
Also, the RSV verse numbering differs from the NRSV.
The NRSV appears to have followed Swete's numbering here, so I have re-ordered the RSV to agree with both the NRSV & Swete for these chapters.
