 Psalms << Ps : 150 >>The Septuagint (Brenton)

1 Αλληλουια.

Αἰνεῖτε τὸν θεὸν ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις αὐτοῦ,
αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν στερεώματι δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ·

Praise God in His Sanctuary. Psalm 150Alleluia.
Praise God in his holy places:
praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ταῖς δυναστείαις αὐτοῦ,
αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῆς μεγαλωσύνης αὐτοῦ.
 Praise him on account of his mighty acts:
praise him according to his abundant greatness.
3 αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν ἤχῳ σάλπιγγος,
αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν ψαλτηρίῳ καὶ κιθάρᾳ·
 Praise him with the sound of a trumpet:
praise him with psaltery and harp.
4 αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν τυμπάνῳ καὶ χορῷ,
αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν χορδαῖς καὶ ὀργάνῳ·
 Praise him with timbrel and dance:
praise him with stringed instruments and the organ.
5 αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν κυμβάλοις εὐήχοις,
αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν κυμβάλοις ἀλαλαγμοῦ.
 Praise him with melodious cymbals:
praise him with loud cymbals.
6 πᾶσα πνοὴ αἰνεσάτω τὸν κύριον.
 Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord.
