Israel Stele of Merenptah.

This stele was found in Thebes in1896.
The Inscription contains a hymn, which is followed by a list of the Pharaoh's conquests.
The list includes Israel.
The earliest reference outside the Bible to the name.
c.1224 BCE. Limestone. 2.3m high.
