This website makes available a number of notable works of
reference which are no longer in print.
Copyright permissions have been requested for those books that may not
quite yet be in the public domain. If I have unwittingly infringed
copyright, please let me know.
katapi web-pages are created in MSOffice 2000 &
Frontpage 2003, using Arial Unicode MS font on a setup enabled for
multi-language (including Asian right-to-left) support. The katapi New
Study Bible database is prepared in MS Access 2000 then transferred to a
MySQL database on a Unix Server. PHP web-pages supply the bible
study data from the database.
If passages in Greek or Hebrew do not display correctly on your Web
Browser, you should enable multi-language support and ensure that you have
an extended Unicode font, which includes Polyphonic Greek, and Hebrew
such as Arial Unicode MS or
Palatino Linotype. Visit
www.tyndale.cam.ac.uk for more on Unicode fonts.

Pages are best displayed in frames.
The header frame contains links to the principal reference points on the
site.
The left hand (navigation) frame contains lists of links to page headings
in the main frame.
If you cannot see either of these, press the HOME link to view katapi in a
new window.
Select a book from the book list to open the contents in the navigation
frame.
Select a chapter in the navigation frame to open the chapter in the main
frame.
You will not be able to print preview your book selection.
(This is a general problem with websites created in frames)
All books have been formatted for printing on A4 sized paper, so just
right-click on your selection and select PRINT, but check the page numbers
before you print. Some chapters are more than thirty pages long.
Each chapter is self contained, with internal links linking into the
chapter's bookmarks.
If you choose to save a chapter onto your PC, the internal links should
continue to function on your PC. |
